It was the time when all the leaves were dry
It was the time when the star left his sky
The road was lost for I'm a passerby
Nothing was left for me but sit and cry.
All was quiet in this night of distress
Even the moon looked out with all faintness
While falling leaves echoed in the darkness
I saw myself wand'ring with loneliness.
My soul's voice whispered and agonized
And all that's heared were clashing sounds of cries
Rough face of the moon, covered by all skies
Keeping my grief hidden with blissful lies.
The deafening deep breath of breeze --- endless.
The falling teardrops of the clouds --- countless.
Every beating of my heart --- listless.
Ev'ry memory of you --- the loveliest.
