They told us it ain't right.
That what we wanted was disgusting to their eyes.
They have been attacking us for "that" and "this".
They said a "she" won't be a "he" and that "her" won't be a "his".
They said we will go to hell.
Yes, we heard them well.
But let us just be fair, my dear.
Straight and proclaimed self-righteous people, are you really living clean and clear?
Equality is what we wanted.
Why do you even wish us to be dead?
We are the same like you.
Who longed for a love that is true.
Why can't you just be understanding enough?
When in fact, some of you are not nurturing the love you receive from your other half.
You dreamed to be loved and cared unconditionally.
That is what we wanted as well, irregardless of our sexuality.
We let you with your rights to love whoever you want.
Will you please respect and let us adore someone and then you stop the endless rant?
Don't you think this scenario is effective?
Don't you think it's a conducive atmosphere to live?
Life is way too short.
Just be a good sport.
Go on, be straight as you can be.
