Thirty-five

I ran to where Hoseok supposed to be but fhere was an explosion, so loud and destroyed a part of the building.

My eyes widened and gasped loud, "No.." I can't stop thinking about Hoseok and proceed on running to where he was.

Hoseok was there, lying on the ground lifelessly. My heart beated so fast to see him in that condition, i can't bear to see him like this. He was wounded but him alive was what matter.

"Why are u still here?" he asked with his almost closed eyelids. "Because i trust you" I said, looking around. He suddenly winced in pain, and caught my attention as i looked down to his left leg.

There was a big and sharp piece of glass, stucked in his left leg. Blood wet up his pants and left him in endless pain. "Oh god"

"Where is the King?" i asked. "No idea" He shook his head.

His attitude didn't change at all, he just wanted to act all through when he knew that King was on his way there. He just acted to make sure we both, Ryu and I were fooled by him so his secret wont break.

But he can't do it once i warned him about the relationship. That's why he pulled me close to him, and whispered something to me which was 'It's me. Trust me'

I dragged Hoseok slowly to bring him out from there and placed him down carefully by the wall.

"I thought it will distract him but mo chance" Hoseok chuckled. "I didn't froze it, i melted it" He explained what happened after we leaved.

"No, you did a good job. Ryu sent all of them back to the town safely.. i hope" I smiled weakly and caressed his face. "You did a great job" i repeated while trying to get the glass out from his leg but it just can't.

"You sounded sad, what's wrong?"

"I dont know, my feelings are mixed up right now. Wait here" i told him amd gestured to go but he held my hand and pulled me down. "Where are u going?" He asked weirdly.

"See that King, what else?"

"Wait no, he is too strong. He is not just an ordinary king, he learns sorcery!" Hoseok convinced me to stay. "Hold on" I groaned. "I've faced so many dangerous things and now you want me to not do this?"

"You dont understand. The explosion just now, were because of him. His power felt so strong, and familiar.." He said confusedly.

"What do u mean by that?" i asked. "Doesn't matter. Anyway, you can't kill him. The only way is to stab his heart, but it's inside of the ice" Hoseok still won't let me go.

"I will try my best. You, stay here" i told him and walked away from there. He shouted my name but i just pretended i can't hear him and went to find King.

When i found him in the basement, he was trying to froze his heart again. "Obey me!" He suddenly shouted, makes me shocked. In sudden, the magic was out from his hand, freezing the heart again but it takes time to build the ice again.

"Obey me? who is he talking to?" I asked myself while hiding by the wall and peeked again. His magic suddenly gone, making him stopped from freezing the heart.

"Fck it!" He shouted angrily. "Give me or i will torture your soul!" He gritted his teeth tight, like angry to someone but there's nobody around him.

It took just a while until his magic returned and he was back to froze his heart. "Good" he spoke to himself and continued on doing it.

"Help us"

I startled when i heard someone talked to me when nobody was there with me. "W-who is that?" i asked like a mad person.

'Hide! He is coming!"

Quickly, i hid in another room and as be told, he was cheking out the area because he heard my voice just now.

"Who are you?"
