I heard the demon was holding a gun, as he clicked it.

Before the demon could do anything to me, i looked down to my hand and breathed in and out before a shield came out from my hand. Using it, i ran across with the shield defending me.

He kept on shooting me but it doesn't work and he threw away the gun. "No use" He groaned and black aura came out from him before he dashed toward me.

"You will die!" he shouted out loud and pulled me by hair. The shield was gone, turning into red ash. My long hair was be pulled by him, and i was lost, dont know what to do.

My eyes looked down to the red ash and quickly took it when he pulled my hair harder. Unexpectedly, his hand changed to sharp blade and placed it onto my neck. Before he snap my neck, i spread the ash onto his neck and i met three of my fingers as he felt painful on that spot

He let me go right away and fell to the back, wincing and shouting while trying to clean the ash on his neck. "Im sorry hoseok!" I shouted, worried about Hoseok's body and ran away quickly.

I entered the same forest where i met the old woman and wandered in there, trying to run away from the demon. Out of sudden, i realised that my pocket was lightened with blue colour, i took out the stone and stopped.

It was bright but not much bright. With every steps i take, i moved forward and the stone became bright and more brightened.

The same smoke came out from the stone, revealing a portal in front of me. I was shocked and stepped away, which makes the portal closed.

"this is the key" I said with wide eyes. "Is this where grandma came from??" i asked myself and tightened my grip on the stone.

"Find the truth"

I remembered what Hoseok said and couraged myself to open the portal once again and walked into it, as it brought me somewhere else, to other place.

Everything was dark, silence and.. creepy. Trees were dead, no green colour at all, only red, black, and grey

"Where is this.." My eyes were looking around, trying to figure out where i was standing. Out of blue, i heard someone screamed and a gunshot.

My whole body was shaking, i turbed around because i can't face the front where i heard the gunshot and terrifying scream came from.

"Hoseok.. i need you" My voice was shaking. I closed my eyes tight and bit my lower lip, trying hard not to cry due to feel scared

But i wanted to know the truth and decided to just go on. There's nothing holding me back anymore and walked forward, down the hill and walked to the one and only unfinished building there.

Slowly, i got closer to the wall and hid by it then peeked inside.

Quickly, i covered my mouth before anything escaped from my mouth when i saw there were so many slaves, tied up on legs with chains, doing works to build up something in the middle, a tower.

"What is this"

I squatted when someone turned to my way and stayed silence. "That's him! ryu!" I whispered and looked down to the stone, it wasn't bright anymore

I wanted to get up because i thought he wasn't there anymore, but i forgot Leo was still there, It just got out from the portal and using his sense to sense my presence. It went down the hill and still was searching for me.

I dont have any choice but to use the mud on the ground and spreaded it onto my skin, to make sure it couldn't sense my warmth and smell.

In instant, i ran away from there and entered the building, walking to one of the slaves, a woman.

"I will let you out from--"

Her eyes, were diamonds.

But i didn't turn her into puppets, how can.. is there any puppeteers here other than me??

But i thought.. no puppeteer is still alive until now except for me. Clearly i was wrong. My eyes looked down to her feet, hands, they were injured but she pretended like they were nothing.

"What?!" As soon as i heard Ryu's voice, i quickly ran away from there and that's when i saw someone from above with both hands to the front. She was sitting in the chair, stil focusing on controlling. She's aged around 50's.

"she must be the one who's controlling this! Im going to kill her!" i shouted but not too loud, just showing how angry i was and found the way up as i went upstairs.

With the sword i created using my power, i wanted to kill her and screamed while rushing toward her but when she turned to me, i noticed her diamonds were grey and cracked.. she's been crying.

"Help me" she mouthed.
