I stood next to Ryu, on the stage with other kids in front, looking at us. The kids' behaviour was.. really nice. They didn't talk, cry or even laugh, they know the manners. Hoseok came and stood next to me.

"Why are u shivering?" Hoseok whispered. "I dont know. It's like i will kill them" I said, looking down to my cold hands. "No you are not" Hoseok shook his head and held my hands, giving me warmth and calmed me down. I was shocked, but it really helped me.

"Miss eve will help us, to win the war. Im sure this news has spread around the town" Ryu spoke using the microphone. "She was born with a power, to turn anything to puppets, including humans"

The kids smiled, just like Mary. They are ready for the war, for me to turn them into puppets.

"Miss Eve will turn all of you, into puppets and that way, nobody is going to feel the pain during the war" Ryu smiled. "But nobody knows if they will survive or not" I muttered under my breath.

"Miss Eve will come to every houses and every workers in the palace will be send to their houses, and that time u should be prepare to be turn into puppets. That's all from me thank you"

I formed my hand into a fist and looked up to the door. "This is not a crime.. right?" i eyed Hoseok. "No, sure not. The King gave orders, we follow it"

I pressed the bell and someone opened the door.

"Me first!" Mary shouted with a wide smile. "Mary? This is your house??" I looked around while she pulled me by hand to inside.

"Right" she nodded. "So, where are u going to do it?" She asked. "In.. your room" I smiled nervously and she leaded us to her bedroom.

She sat down, facing the window while i sat behind her. "This will just be painful for a bit. Dont worry"

"Im not. I dont care as long as it can save the town and payback them"

I shut my mouth when i heard her reasons to do this and nodded. "That's the spirit" i smiled weakly and opened my palm, as a rose came out from the palm, which a nice rose with the thorns.

"Close your eyes" I whispered to her. She closed her eyelids with a smile on her face. At the same time, i put the rose inside her nape slowly and i succeeded.

"There you go" i said, but Mary didn't reply. "She is--"

"She won't talk. You insert the rose, which means she is a puppet now, right?" Hoseok asked.

I placed a hand on my forehead and nodded. "Right, i forgot" i climbed down from the bed and carefully lied her down on the bed and pulled the blanket to cover her from cold.

"Stay sleep for now" I whispered to her left ear, more to giving the puppet a command. She didn't move or breathe, makes me sad.

Five houses has done, and i started to feel tired. "Hoseok" I said, almost fell when i stood up after gave the last rose to a boy. Hoseok caught me and looked down worriedly. "Are u okay?" He asked. "Do i look okay to you?" i groaned.

"Well, no you dont"

"I've never done more than three puppets before. Let me rest" I said.

"Okay, let's go home"

Hoseok placed me down carefully on my bed and gave me a warm water to drink. "It's been a while since i saw your illusion" i smiled to him and rested my back by the headboard.

"I can do any illusions for u, snow, autumn, spring, anything" he laughed. "I want golds around me" i said, placing down the glass. "You gold digger" He laughed and held his hand to the front as he swished it.

"I still remember our old times, when my family was still here" He smiled. I saw a guy was playing with a little girl with snow balls.

"Stop it!"  The girl laughed and fell onto the ground covered with snow as the guy lied down next to her too. They started to making wings and laughed together.

"That's you" i said, looking at the guy. "This was 3 years ago" Hoseok smiled and changed the illusion. "Mom was there, baking cookies and I approached her" Hoseok explained as his hand moved, changing it.

"Your mom and sister are both beautiful" i smiled looked at it again. Without knowing it, my tears dropped, maybe because we were looking at dead person.

"Soon, u will have a partner in your life, bring her here to bake cookies with me" she smiled warmly and fed Hoseok a cookie.

Hoseok nodded, "I promise"

Everything disappeared and the silence broke in.

"Until now, i still can't fulfill mom's wish. She's gone"

"I know how it feels like. I've lost my whole family members too" I smiled. "But it doesn't mean we need to give up or lose control. It means, we need to grow stronger and learn what's wrong and right" I held his hand. "But i can promise you this one thing, i will always be by your side. We are facing the same fate"

"A promise is a promise" He whispered to himself. "What did u say?" I asked.

"No. Nothing"
