Chapter 10: Ice skating

Edward's POV

"Ehm...we have no pictures of us from when we're younger because..." Seriously Edward, hurry up, think of an idea!! "They ehm..ehm, they are burned. Yeah, they burned when Our house was on fire. That's why we had to move." Oh god, I don't want to lie to her. But I have to, for my own safety, and John's of course.

"Oh...oh I didn't know that. that's a pity, I would love to see those pictures." She said.

We moved the latest boxes into our room and were finished in a few minutes. We got something to drink after that with John, but after that she really had to go home.

(Y/N)'s POV

"Thank you so much for helping us (Y/N), it was awesome." John said. I had to smile and he came to me to give me a hug. "You're very welcome guys, but I think I should thank you for helping me! for example for driving me to school." Edward walked to me and gave me a really tight hug, and I hugged him back in the same way. I just love to be so close to him. "You don't have to thank me sweetheart, I actually love to do it.." He whispered to me. I looked at his face and he smiled at me, the smile I love so much. I feel how my heart slowly starts to beat faster and how my cheeks got warm. "See you tomorrow, I can't wait to go to the ice skating rink with you. Don't worry, I will really teach it you." I had to smile at him because he was so sweet again. He released me and that was when he said: "Wait I totally forgot, you don't have a bike, I will drive you home (Y/N)" omg, yes! So me and Edward walked out of the house together and I said by to John. Edward got his bike out of the garage again and he drove me home. I just love to have this excuse to hold him so tightly, I ask myself if I'm not annoying him with this. I enjoyed him driving me home. It was silent all the way, but nobody needed to say something.

We finally reached my home and Edward walked with me to my front door.

"I really enjoyed this day with you (Y/N)." He said to me. I smiled at him and was about to go inside when he grabbed me in a tight hug. I enjoyed being so close to him again. "(Y/N) I really mean it when I say that I enjoy doing all this for you." He said to me. "I'm so glad to finally have friends like you guys. There is finally someone who like me in some ways." I said kind of sad. "Yeah, and I don't know why there aren't more people who would like to be your friend, you're so awesome." Awww

He smiled at me again and give me a kiss on my cheek before he left. He let me standing before my house, blushing, blushing because he kissed me on my cheek. I brought my hand to my cheek and tried to remember the feeling of these soft lips on my cheek. Edward cycled away after he had showed me all his teeth one last time.

I walked inside and walked immediately upstairs to my room. I lay down onto my bed and thought back on this beautiful day. Why had John to walk in on us on that beautiful moment, after what he said to me? I COULD HAVE KISSED EDWARD!!

But after all these beautiful moments, I also thought about the stupid things that happened today. What if they really are going to do what they wrote on that piece of paper? Edward told me that he and John would help me, but what if they aren't there when it happens? All this made me really scared, and after some minutes I finally fell asleep.

The next morning I woke up a bit lately, so I was stressed and tried to hurry, because John and Edward would be here in like a few minutes. So I got ready really quickly. I was ready when the doorbell rang. I run to the door and got my bag, which contents all the stuff I needed for today.

I opened the front door and immediately looked at two people with an huge, sweet smile on their face. "hey guys." I said with the same excitement as them. Although we're going ice skating today, I'm actually excited about this day. Maybe this year it will be really cool, because I have really good friends now.

I asked them who would drive me to school today, and John told me Edward would drive me to school, and Edward seemed more than excited about it. So they cycle to the place where our teacher told us to go. After some minutes, we reached it. I could already see lots of people from our class standing for the entrance. We walked to them and I talked with John and Edward for a bit. I could already see my enemies looking at me with lots of anger. They made me really scared. Edward caught me looking at them. "I guess we can better stay away from them today." He whispered to me. "You know I will help you, right?" I nodded and smiled sweetly at him.

There finally came someone, so we could finally go in. "I can't wait to do this. I haven't been ice skating for ages." Edward says excitedly and I need to giggle at his face because he looks so excited and cute like a little child. I could see Edward was distracted for a moment, I don't know why. "I'll probably fall over every 5 meters Edward. I can't skate on ice." I tell him and he smiles and tells me that we will do this together and that he will help me and sooner than I can think I'm better than anybody else at skating on ice.

I get my ice skates, and John and Edward too.

"I hope I won't be too clingy." I say as we are walking towards the ice ring. Edward grins, takes my hand and says "You can't be too clingy. I'll hold you if you are gonna fall. No need to worry, I guess you will soon be a perfect ice skater." I smile at him and think about how good it actually feels to have his and my hand linked. "Ready?" he suddenly asks me and I try to focus on the ice we are walking towards. "We'll just start slowly and sooner than you can see you are brilliant." Edward said to me.

I really can't skate on ice! I always fell last year. So now we are standing at the entrance and Edward is already on the ice. He still hold my hand and gives me a little squeeze. I step onto the ice and my legs are trembling. "Let's begin to skate." He suggests and I laugh and ask him "How?" He takes both of my hands gently and skates backwards. HOW CAN HE DO THIS?

When I look at John I can see him also doing some tricks. Seriously, WHY?  I look on the ground to see what my feet are doing but sooner than I can react my knees hit the ground. I fell. I can hear these stupid girls laughing at me again, but deep inside of me I know they are just jealous of me, because I got to hold his hand. Edward helps me to get up. "I'm so sorry Edward." I excuse my stupid self. "Nothing to bother (Y/N). Aww it looked so cute when you fell." He laughs and I just ignore him. So we try to move on and I am actually not that bad after some time. So after some time I try it on my own. I let go of his hands and first I'm a bit unsure and my body is trembling again but after a while I feel a lot safer and get a bit more risky. I look over to John and Edward who are skating beside me. Edward suddenly begins to skate faster. I skate faster as well and suddenly Edward turns around to look if I'm behind him but I'm too fast to stop. I directly skate into Edward and fall on top of him. We burst out laughing. My heart start beating faster at his cute laugh. I looked at his beautiful eyes and got lost in them. I feel weird inside. It's like something gonna explode in my belly the next few moments. We're both silent now, and our faces are getting closer to each other. We were about to kiss each other, but this beautiful moment was interrupted again...
