Chapter 22: I want to be close to you<3

Edward’s POV

I couldn’t see that much because it was already really dark outside. It made everything even harder and it made me hopeless. I walk through the wet grass and suddenly step in mud. I sighed deeply and got irritated. Just bring me to my lovely girl!!

That’s when I reached the well known hill, which I got one really bad memory of but actually more good ones. It feels like yesterday when I taught her how to ice skate, how she harshly bumped into me, it was so romantic though<3 It is like yesterday when our relationship started here, through one big accident. I kissed her for the first time and it felt magically.

But I can also remember how I saw her being helpless here in the water, when she didn’t react at me. I remember how I felt when I saw her lifeless body laying here on the grass, seeming like she was dead. I shiver because of the last memories, and hope I won’t see her like that ever again. There happened so many bad things to her, and she deserved nothing of it.

I walk slowly further along the hill, the closer I come to the place the faster my heart is pounding. I saw a figure close to the place, against a tree. There grew slowly some hope inside of me and I started to walk faster. When I reached the place, I was overwhelmed. She was laying really close to this tree, it really is (Y/N). I was only meters away from her now, but slowly walked closer. She was still wearing the red dress which once looked so beautiful, but is destroyed by the people I hate most on earth. Because they destroyed it back then I could see all the red spots, bruises and wounds on her body again. I got hurt because of this even more.

I see she has her eyes closed, but she was also trembling like hell because it was freezing cold outside. She was only wearing this dress, she is already an whole day like this outside! This can’t be any good. I get the urge to use my powers to warm her but I will scare her away immediately that way.

I walked closer to her step by step, making sure I didn't make too much noise. I could see that her whole body looked really pale again and her lips looked even purple! I want to take her close to me, I can’t see her like this anymore. I tried to walk a little faster but (Y/N) opened her eyes suddenly. When she saw I was the one who woke her, she immediately became scared. She sat up and tried to walk backwards. My sight was somehow only focused on her scared expression.

So this is what I have done to her, and I totally understand why she reacts like this.  She was breathing heavily and suddenly hit the tree with her back.

“Please stop (Y/N), I won’t hurt you...” I said softly at her.

“Yes, that is what they always say before they use someone for their magic trick!” she said. I could hear how scared she was from her voice, but I was already glad I could hear it again.

“Really (Y/N) let me help you, please... I’m begging you! I’m really sorry I didn’t explain it to you earlier, but I wasn’t allowed to tell anyone.” I said hopelessly, I just want to have her back... “I really do love you (Y/N), you mean everything to me! I am sorry for scaring you away, but please forgive me (Y/N)...”

I saw how tears started to stream down her face, and I got the urge to hug her really tightly, taking all the pain away from her. Everything just hurts me, I can’t handle seeing her like this, having it freezing cold and being hurt.
