Chapter 1

Lexi's POV

I'm Lexi Montemayor. A 16 years old high school student. They say I'm pretty, rich, popular but not that intelligent. Only daughter ako, kaya spoiled daw. My mom died before I was one. My father,  Charles Montemayor is one of the busiest dad in the world. It is because of his job, he's a businessman and really  a rich one. Sabi din nila maldita daw ako. So what?? As long as I'm happy. I always get what I want! I said.. WHAT I  WANT....

Sa school...

Teacher: Ms. Montemayor, you have failing grades..... AGAIN..

So what??  Pwede ko naman sabihin sa papa ko na bayaran ang teacher ko para makapasa ako. 

Lexi: It's okay. I'll just tell my Dad!

Oh! I have two lazy friends... Therese and Gabby. They're mayaman also, but hindi kami magkalevel noh?! Friends kami kasi we're rich, that's all!

Therese: Aren't you worried about your grades?

Lexi: Why should I?? I could tell Daddy to pay for my grades. I don't need to study. We study because we need job. And job means money. But because I have lots of money, no need for me to study okay? I could just ask from my Dad!

Gabby: You're one of a kind talaga!

Lexi: Of course!

Sa bahay...

Lexi: Yaya! Will you get my towel? I want to swim.

Manang Josie: Ay.. Saan po ba nakalagay?

Lexi: May isip ka ba? Ikaw yung katulong dito, pagkatapos tatanungin mo ako? Get me my towel, FAST!!!!!

Manang Josie: O.. opo..

Mr. Montemayors's POV

Isang malaking kasalanan ang aking nagawa. 

I can still remember 18 years ago, when I got married to Lilia (Lexi's mom) . We were so happy. After a year ng aming marriage, hindi pa rin kami nagka-anak. Because of frustrations, nagkatuwaan kami ng bestfriend ko..Si Minda Go. Nag-inuman, nalasing at... Yun... May nangyari nga. After a month, nalaman kong buntis ang misis ko, pati na rin ang bestfriend ko.  Ayaw kong magalit ang asawa ko kaya itinago namin ng bestfriend ko ang aming anak. She was a Chinese, she got married to a Chinese (Joel Ching) also kahit na alam ng asawa niya na buntis siya. Aksidente lang naman yung sa amin. Inilayo niya ang bata na hindi ko man lang nakikita. Alam kong aalagaan ni Joel ang anak ko, kasi mahal niya si Minda. 

Nang malaman ni Lilia ang nangyari, inatake siya sa puso that caused her death. Now, I'm driving on my way to Olongapo. Namatay na kasi si Minda, si Joel naman matagal ng namatay.  Dun, susunduin ko ang anak kong matagal nang itinatago. I don't even know her name. But I heard a lot about her.  Mabait at matalino daw siyang bata.
