Albus's point of view

"You need to kill somebody."

There was a silence.

"And... what if I don't..?" Albus said slowly.

"You'll do me a favor," said Delphi. "Don't make me do anything bad now."

"Delphi... I can't take someone else's life. I'm not a killer. I wouldn't even succeed the killing curse."

"You never know until you've tried. I would do it myself if it didn't cost my life as well. All you have to do is kill and then switch my soul with the corpse."

"You can't make me do this. I refuse!" Albus shouted as he left his seat. He could feel his anger rising while Delphi stood there looking at him.

"You won't feel any guilt. It doesn't have to someone you know. How about Diana? You've met her before. When I was her remember? She's easy to find." Albus had never felt this angry before and this time he didn't care what Delphi could do. He was so angry he was ready to take the fight.

"You leave her alone! I'm not killing an innocent life!"

"I'll make sure you will. I'll just need to find a bait." She began to smile. A smile that made Albus feel very uncomfortable. "I could bring your sweet beloved Scorpius here. Keep him trapped here. Torture him with the power that's left of me. Maybe I could use some muggle torture on him." The smile she gave him made him explode.

"LEAVE SCORPIUS OUT OF THIS!!!" he screamed. "Lay a hand on him and I'll make sure you'll suffer ten times worse than he did in the maze."

"Do as I say and I won't touch him." Albus had his wand ready.

"You were trying to apologize. But I knew you had something on your mind. Same old Delphi... Petrificus Totalus!"he shouted with his wand in her direction and her body froze. He was impressed since he didn't expect it to work.

He lifted her heavy body and locked her inside a cabinet, placing a chair beneath the doorknob hoping that she won't come out. Not that it would help but it was all he could do for now. If he was lucky then maybe she would rot in there and die. He made his way back to the castle in a hurry.

He went to the common room at sat down the couch by the fireplace, his favourite place. He kept his eyes on the fire while thinking of Delphi. How could he be so stupid? He knew that she was up to something, and still, just like the last time, he fell for it because of her kindness. Could he tell Scorpius about this? The answer was no. And not because he would say "see I told you so", but to protect him.

Later he heard Scorpius entering. He could hear his footsteps making their way to the dorm, but then stopped.

"Are you alright, Albus?" he said.

"I can't sleep." Scorpius sat down beside him.

"You're shaking. Is everything alright?"

The answer was the opposite, which he couldn't admit. Although he wanted to warn him. Ask him to hide and never leave the castle. But if he found out the truth he wouldn't listen. He would never let Albus fight her alone. And if Scorpius was with him Delphi would do what she threatened him to do. And Albus refused to let that happen, so he decided not to tell him.

"Just a bit stressed out," he lied. "OWLs are coming up and all that."

"You sure that's it?" Scorpius asked. He seemed to suspect that something was wrong, but Albus kept quiet for his safety. He looked at his friend.

"Absolutely sure," he said and felt his eyes tearing up. He quickly wiped them with his sleeve.

"You're crying," said Scorpius who sounded a bit worried. Albus shook his head and tried to force a smile.

"I'm just tired," he said.

Scorpius pulled him in for a hug and let him cry in his shoulder. Albus hugged him tight. He would never let Delphi come near him unpunished. Scorpius released the hug and rested his hands on his shoulders.

"You need to get some sleep," he said and wiped the tears. "I'll help you out."

Albus nodded as in thank you. Scorpius got on his feet and held out his hand. Albus grabbed it and Scorpius pulled him up before they made their way to their dorm.
