Chapter 46

Harry's point of view

The wedding was taking place outside the Shell Cottage, were Victoire's family lived. The garden was decorated och flowers and ready for the wedding to begin. Harry had taken his seat beside Ron and Hermione, and also Hugo and Rose. Ginny and James were sharing a bench in front och him with Arthur and Molly, who was in tears because her oldest grandchild was getting married.

From another distance Albus was sitting beside Scorpius, holding his hand. Draco and Lily's boyfriend Isac were sharing the bench with them. Since Lily was the bridesmaid she was standing close to the couple. 

The afterparty was near the beach, where they had built a dance floor, and also a stage where The Weird Sisters were performing. Harry was looking at Draco from a distance.

"You still love him don't you?" Harry looked at his side and noticed that Albus was there.

"No need to worry. Nothing will happen between us again," Harry told his son as Magic Works began playing. In Harry's surprise Albus started to smile.

"Ask him to dance with you," he said.

"What?"

"Dance with him and enjoy the night. It's what you want isn't it?"

"You sure it's okay?" Albus gave his back a push.

"Go!"

Albus was right. Dancing with Draco a night like this was a good choice. 

Albus's point of view

Albus was giggling over his dad's awful steps, though he was still happy for him. 

"I'd like to see you showing your moves," said Scorpius who just walked up to him.

"You know I don't dance," Albus grinned.

"Say that again after fifteen butterbeers. You were good at the Macarena-dance," Scorpius teased. Albus gave him a push.

"Hey, Scorpius! Can I have this dance?" Rose, who just showed up, ironically asked.

"I'm fine thank you," he said wrapping his arm around Albus.

"Just what I thought," she said and walked off.

"Maybe that's why she kept rejecting you," Albus told his boyfriend.

The boys walked down to the beach, where Lily, Isac and Hugo were playing around in the water splashing each other. Albus took Scorpius's hand and walked over where the water was deeper, to sit on the edge. They took off their shoes to dip their feet.

"One day this could be our turn," said Scorpius while holding Albus's hand.

"We're sixteen and we've been together for one year, and you're already planning our wedding?" Albus question with a grin. Scorpius pecked his cheek.

"Just daydreaming. About our future." Albus leaned his head onto Scorpius's shoulder.

"Or we focus on us now. Look at this beautiful view."

They sat there like an endless night. Albus had never felt happier than this.
