Albus's point of view
A few weeks passed and Albus was pleased that he and Scorpius finally made it up. He didn't even mind Bianca in his presence anymore. She was now out the hospital wing and spent a lot of time with Scorpius. Albus wanted to be happy for his friend, although being together all three of them made him uncomfortable. He didn't want to feel like a third wheel, plus there was still a bit of jealousy in him.
Albus was also thinking about Delphi. She had sent him another owl asking him when to catch up. He made up a decision that it would be today. He was still curious about her illness. Why was he the the one to help her? What was he supposed to do?
He made his way to Hogsmeade to look for the pub she mentioned. As he reached the old building he looked around after the secret passage. He spotted a wooden board leaning against the house, like some kind of hatch. He assumed it to be the secret passage. He wondered how he was going to enter. Kneel down and knock hoping for her to hear it, or enter without invitation? He didn't message her about coming today so she would probably be surprised. He decided to knock, but just as he held out his fist the hatch opened from the inside and there Delphi was sticking out her head.
"Albus! I knew you would come," she said and moved aside. The passage was a tiny hole to crawl trough. "Come in, I think you're skinny enough to get through this."
He laid down flat on his stomach and crawled through the hole. He then brushed off the dirt from his clothes when he was inside. He took a look around. The place looked a bit dead and you couldn't say a word without hearing echos.
"So this is where you currently live," said Albus.
"Where I hide," Delphi corrected. "But yeah. You could call this a home."
They entered the room where the bar was, and Delphi went to stand behind it like a bartender. Albus sat down across from her like a costumer.
"What can I get you?" she said and began digging through the fridge. "Fancy a butterbeer?" She held up a bottle full of dust that must have been about twenty years old. Albus could read the irony on her grin.
"I'll pass," he said. Delphi laughed and but the bottle back.
"You know why you're here right?" she said. Albus nodded. "I think I should tell you the story from the beginning in details."
"I'll listen," said Albus and Delphi prepared herself.
"As you already know, I am the daughter of Lord Voldemort and Bellatrix Lestrange," she began. Albus had heard about it and now he remembered why he wasn't safe around her. "You know... my mother's pregnancy wasn't like others. Didn't happen in the way it usually does. Voldemort wasn't human enough to have a biological child, but he was desperate. Desperate for a part of him to live on if he would fail."
"You mean to say that he wasn't your real father?"
"He was the closest father I could get to. He was the one who made my mum pregnant. By a curse. He cast a pregnancy curse on her. It means that I'm a curse." Albus was confused and tried to catch every single word she said.
"Has this something to do with your illness?" he asked although he had already guessed it. Delphi nodded.
"With this curse, you can't have a normal life. It only lasts until you're 20 to 25, which is my age. then you get weaker. Slowly losing your power. The magic dies out. Then you die."
"And... you want me to stop it from happening?" Delphi nodded. "How? What do you want me to do?"
"There's only one way to do it. You're going to make my soul live on in someone else's body." Albus swallowed. He had a bad feeling about it. "You have to be the one to conjure the curse. I don't have enough power for it."
"What exactly do you want me to do?"
"You need to kill somebody."
