"Daddy no!" Angelo's precious squeals were heard.

"You'll wake mummy." I could hear Simon chuckle.

I yawned, stirring before slightly opening my eyes.

I was instantly met with Angelos sweet eyes and wide, toothy grin.

"Hi mummy." He giggled, reaching out to begin playing with my hair.

"Hello my sweet boy." I smiled, kissing his nose. "Was daddy being a nuisance?"

"What's that?" He asked with a scrunched up nose.

"Was he being a cheeky monkey?" I laughed, hugging him tightly.

"I was being nothing of a sort." Simon gasped, entering the room.

I smiled, "How did you sleep?"

Simon and I weren't in a position to sleep in the same bed. Well, I never thought it was appropriate. He slept in the guest room.

"Good, thank you." He replied, leaning down to kiss my forehead.

"Yucky." A little voice mumbled from my neck.

"Looks like you're the cheeky monkey." I laughed, tickling his sides.

"Granny teached me a new word!" He suddenly said, escaping my hold.

I smirked, "She taught you a new word, huh?"

Rosemary had been teaching Angelo a little Spanish recently as her and Andrew had just taken a trip to Granada.

"Uh-huh she did!" He grinned excitedly.

"And what word was that?" I smiled.

"Gracias." He answered, looking awfully proud.

"What does that mean, baby?" I asked.

"I don't know but I like it." He shrugged.

I laughed while looking at Simon. He simply smiled back, shaking his head.

"I love you." I grinned at Angelo.

"I love you mumma." He nodded, kissing me quickly. "Can I have breakfast now?"

"Yes, baby. Come on." I smiled, lifting myself from the bed and loading Angelo onto my hip.

As I was walking towards the door, I turned back to Simon.

"You coming?" I asked.

"Oh yeah." He smiled, quickly walking over to Angelo and I.

"No but that's not right!" Angelo whined from the living room.

Simon and I were cleaning up the mess in the kitchen as Angelo decided he wanted pancakes and 'needed' to help.

"What's not right, handsome?" I asked with a smirk.

"The telly!" He sighed.

Simon chuckled while I looked at him, shaking my head.

"What's that look for?" Simon asked.

"He got that from you." I smiled, still shaking my head.

"There's nothing wrong with being right." He shrugged.

"He's not right but. That's the thing." I laughed.

"Oh so I'm never right, huh?" He asked with a smirk, coming towards me.

"Well not never but, most of the time." I grinned back.

"Is that right?" He asked again, placing his hands on my sides.

"It is." I shrugged, placing my hands on his chest.

"Your words hurt, Adkins." He sighed, leaning closer to my face.

"I'm glad, Konecki." I smiled, now leaning closer to him.

Both now leaning closer to the other, him anticipating a kiss. Just as our lips brushed, I moved my head and kissed his cheek.

He groaned, "I should have remembered you had a tendency to tease."

"Then you have only yourself to blame." I grinned, patting his cheek.
