"My baby!" My mum gushed while hugging Angelo.

"Hello to you too, mum." I laughed, looking at Simon.

"Simon! What a surprise." My mum says with wide eyes.

"Hope it's alright I came along." He said in a soft tone.

"Of course it is. Not a bother." She smiled, leading us into the house.

******

"Your kid is an amazing little boy." My mum grinned, handing me a cup of tea.

"He sure is." Simon smiled, stealing a glance at me.

"You know, there's a show at his nursery on Wednesday. Peter Pan." I chimed in.

"He's got a part?"

"Peter." I nodded with a wide grin.

"He's the lead?" He asked, "How come I never knew about this?"

"I actually don't know. We've been going over his lines every night." I shrugged.

"So was you informing me my invite?" He raised a brow.

"I suppose it was, yeah." I nodded, "Mum, Lau and Dani are all coming too."

"I'm looking forward to it." He smiled.

******

"Just think of happy thoughts and then you'll fly!" Angelo giggled, his 'th's sounding more like 'f's.

"Well done, baby!" I laughed.

"Daddy did I do good?" He asked Simon with puppy dog eyes.

"It was amazing, Angelo." Simon smiled back, kissing his forehead.

They truly were creating such a strong bond and I couldn't be happier about it. Angelo deserved the best and he was finally getting it. Although I did everything for him, he would have always been missing a huge part of him that only Simon could give.

******

"Where are you?" I was so close to screaming down the phone.

"I got caught in a meeting but I'm on my way. Calm down, sunshine." Simon replied.

I was standing outside Angelo's nursery waiting for Simon who promised me he wouldn't be late.

"Simon, it starts in twenty minutes. I swear to god if you're not here-"

"I told you I would make it, Adele. I've already left work and I'm in the car now." I knew he was trying to calm me down.

I couldn't help my attitude. This was a big day for Angelo and for Simon to have promised to make him to come then not show would be devastating.

I hung up with a huff and walked inside. I made my way backstage to where Angelo was waiting patiently in his little costume.

"Mummy look how sparkly!" He grinned, lifting his little foot off the ground for me to see.

"Check you out, mister. Shining like star." I smiled back, loading him onto my hip.

"Is daddy not coming to say hi?" He pouted.

"Of course he is. He's just uh-"

"Just coming." A deep voice finished from behind me.

"Daddy!" Angelo squealed, wriggling out of my grip and running towards Simon.

My eyes narrowed at him as he walked closer to me with Angelo in his arms.

"Told you I'd make it." He whispered, wrapping an arm around my waist.

"Right, well good luck baby. Me and daddy need to go take our seats. Remember what I told you, yeah?"

"Chin up no matter what." He nodded with a proud smile.

"Good. Mummy loves you." I grinned, kissing his cheek.

"I love you too." He smiled back, "And you daddy."

"And I love you, Angelo." Simon smiled.

Simon let him down and he ran towards a group of kids.

"I'm going to head to the bathroom before it starts. My mum and all that are already in their seats." I said to him.

******

Making my way to the seats, I noticed Simon talking to Angelo's group leader.

As I got closer, I noticed how she took every chance to touch him. Laughing at something he said and hitting his chest or just touching his arm. I was undoubtedly jealous.

"Miss Withers." I nodded towards her, reaching the two of them.

"Oh, Ms Adkins do you know Mr Konecki?" She asked, her eyes lingering over his face.

"Well I would hope so, considering he's my husband." I replied.

Simons arm was wrapped around my waist and the light squeeze he gave caused me to look towards him. He was concealing a smirk.

"Husband? Oh dear, I never knew you were married. My apologies." Her cheeks flared up.

"Don't worry about it." I waved her off, jealousy still coursing through me, "Maybe we should take our seats?" I suggested to Simon.

"I think that's a good idea." He nodded, "It was a pleasure Miss Withers." He said before we walked away.

"Possessive much?" He whispered, sitting beside me.

"You're my husband, Simon. I'll be damned if I let any woman ogle you." I hissed, keeping my eyes on the stage.

He placed his hand on my leg, "Don't worry, Adkins. I'm yours."

A/N I'm aware this is really bad but ack well. No one is really on here anymore so I don't really care what it's like.
