Angelo did so well in his play. There were a few hiccups here and there but it's expected from a four year old.

"Mummy, were going to be late! You never woke me up." Angelo came running into my room while I was getting ready for work.

"There's no nursery, baby. I thought you could just chill here with daddy while I go to work."

"Daddy's coming?" He asked excitedly.

"Well I still need to phone him but I'm sure he will." I answered with a smile.

"Jammy day!" He giggled, running out of my room.

I laughed softly before reaching for my phone to call Simon. After a few rings, he picked up.

"Sunshine?" He asked.

"Hey, what are you up to today?" I replied, praying he was free.

"I'm in work. In a meeting actually." My heart dropped.

"I'm so sorry, did I interrupt?" I always had a habit of that when we were together.

"Nothing new." He chuckled, "Is something wrong?"

"No, nothing." I said.

"Well, and don't get me wrong I don't mind, why are you phoning?" I could tell he was wearing a smirk.

"Oh, I was just going to ask if you could come over and watch Angelo while I was at work, but it's okay." I explained.

"You know I would but, I've got a few things to take care of." He sighed.

"No, I know. It's fine." I said.

"Has he not got nursery?" He asked.

"No, it's off."

"I'm sorry, Adele."

"Simon, it's okay." I laughed softly.

"I can come pick him up when I finish." He suggested.

"When do you get off?" I asked.

"Two."

"I guess I'll see you then."

Walking through the office with Angelo in my arms was a completely new experience. Everyone knew I had a kid but, they had never seen him.

Angelo's face was hidden in my neck, away from all the prying eyes.

As soon as I closed my office door, his head perked up.

"It's so chilly in here." He pouted, clinging to me tighter.

"I know but, I'm going to put on the heating. Why don't you go sit on the couch and I'll get the iPad in a minute for you." I smiled, placing him on his feet.

He waddled over to the couch, his fluffy blanket draped over him. I only got into the office at one so it won't be long until Simon gets here.

"Why couldn't daddy look after me?" Angelo asked as I handed him the iPad.

"He was working but, he's coming for you later."

His next question threw me completely off guard due to its randomness as well as its wording.

"Mumma, when are you and daddy going to have a baby?" He asked.

I immediately stopped typing and turned to look at him with wide eyes.

"Why, baby? Do you want us to have one?"

He nodded shyly, "I think it will be fun."

"Well I don't know. We might have one soon or we might have one in a couple years." I shrugged.

"Why so long?"

Of course I knew why but, Angelo wouldn't understand.

"Let's just see what happens." I sighed.

"Ms Adkins?" I heard a voice come from the intercom.

The mention of 'Adkins' got me thinking about changing my name back.

"Yes, Evie?" I replied back softly.

"Liam Hart is asking for you."

I sighed, making a face at Angelo, "Tell him I'm busy."

"He's quite adamant, Miss." she said after a short pause.

I huffed dramatically, "Let him in."

Not a second later, Liam comes strutting in with a smug smile on his face.

"Can I help you Mr Hart?"

"Oh, so formal." He chuckled.

"If you've only come to my office to joke around, I suggest you leave." I rolled my eyes.

"Relax, I actually came here to apologise for the other week."

"Oh, you have?" I asked with a raise brow.

He nodded, "What I did wasn't acceptable, regardless of if I knew you were married." He shrugged, "I'm sorry."

"Apology accepted."

"Can I just ask you a question?"

"Shoot." I nodded.

"Why didn't you take his name?"

"A bit personal, don't you think?" A gruff voice stated from behind him.

"Sir, you can't go in there!" Evie was in a panic, running after him.

"Daddy!" Angelo giggled.

"I'm so sorry Ms Adkins-"

"Evie, it's alright. This is my husband." I explained.

Her eyes widened as she shook Simons extended hand, "Sorry, Sir." She mumbled.

"What makes you think I haven't changed it?" I turned to Liam, "All contracts are under 'Adkins' it could basically be a work name." I shrugged.

"None of your business anyway." Simon said bluntly.

"Right. That's enough. Mr Hart, you're excused." I said, motioning to the door.

He nodded silently, making his way out my office. Evie has already disappeared.

"What was he doing in here?"

"He came to apologise for the other night." I shrugged, "Why did you have my assistant running after you?"

"Because as soon as I reached her desk, I could here a voice that sure as hell wasn't yours." He said, sitting on the couch and pulling the blanket over him and Angelo.

"I've been thinking." I started.

"Oh no." I hit his shoulder instantly.

"You don't even know what I'm going to say."

"Nothing good ever comes out of you thinking."

"That's not true." I argued.

"Well what were you thinking then?"

"That I should change my name back."
