"Why are you being so secretive?"

"I always have been you know that. Nothing has changed." He smirked.

I was desperately trying to figure out what Simon had planned for tonight. He has never been one to easily give up a secret.

"Si-"

"Mummy!" Angelo's soft voice echoed through the halls.

"Saved from the interrogation. You're lucky." I winked with a smile.

***

"You're joking." i said, my mouth agape.

I stood in front of a small woods, which to most people would seem pretty creepy, but to me, it brought back an amazing memory.

"So your remember what happened here?" He asked with a hopeful smile.

"Of course I do. I told you I'd never forget it."

When Simon and I first started going out, it was kind of a secret. Not because we needed to hide it from anyone, but just because we liked it just being us that knew. It meant no one else could have their say in our relationship or have an input at all really.

We used to sneak away to these exact small woods and either walk around, sit and have a picnic or literally just lay on the damp dirt ground until early hours in the morning, talking.

This is where Simon said he loved me for the first time.

"I thought it could be like the good old days. Even just for a night." He shrugged.

"It's perfect, baby." I grinned.

***

"Don't be silly, it was amazing." I smiled.

"I'm just saying i know it wasn't to most eventful nigh-"

"Mummy!" Angelo screamed.

I instantly looked at Simon, dropped my coat and ran upstairs.

"Angelo?" I shouted, running towards his room.

"Help!" He said through a fit of tears.

I instantly burst open his door and scooped him up in my arms.

"Baby, what's wrong? Are you hurt? What happened? Where's nanny?"

So many questions came spilling out of my mouth as i held him tightly. My mum quickly ran into the room along with Simon not far behind her.

"What happened to him?" I asked her.

"I have no idea. He went to sleep absolutely fine." She replied, clearly worried aswell.

"What happened Angelo?" Simon asked, walking towards us.

"There was a man." He managed to choke out.

My eyes widened and i instantly looked to Simon.
