"I just need to finish up this email." I said to Simon as he waited with Angelo on the couch.

"Take your time." He smiled.

"Liam gave his condolences earlier." I decided to mention.

"Towards what?" He asked.

"The break in." I said, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"How does he know about that? Did you tell him?" His voice raised slightly.

"Of course I didn't, but it must be all over the news by now." I shrugged, looking up at him from my screen.

"Adele, we've paid people off, making sure none of this got out."

I stopped in my tracks. Simon was right. We both made sure the police would say nothing to the reporters or leak anything to press.

"I'm sure it's nothing. There's no way of stopping these things regardless of how much money you give." I sighed, "That's me. Let's go." I said shutting over my laptop.

"You don't even find it a little bit suspicious?" Simon was still pushing on the topic of Liam knowing about the break in.

"Of course I do, but we both know how quickly news spreads." I said, tired.

"Adele, Laura doesn't even know yet. There's no way he would."

"You never know, Simon." I shrugged.

"He fits the description." He said.

"So does half the population. Simon, this is ridiculous. I know you hold some sort grudge towards him but accusing him of breaking in is too far. He doesn't even know where we live."

"How do you know that? He's obsessed Adele!" He shouted.

"He is not! And Angelo would have recognised him this morning."

"Delusional" He muttered.

"I'm going to bed. I can't be bothered with this." I sighed.

"Think about it."

"Whatever." I said going up the stairs.

A/N I'm so tired. my birthday is tomorrow but it doesn't even feel like it.
