Tears had been streaming down my face non-stop for an hour.
"You really need to calm down, dell. Angelo is fine and we have plenty of time to get out of here."
"How did they know we were here?! No one knows we are staying tonight!" Panic clear in my voice.
"Addie, relax, i'm scared too but the last thing we need to do is wake Angelo and panic him." Simon said, grasping my shoulders and looking into my eyes.
"i can't deal with this, Simon." I sobbed, "we need to leave. Right now." I stated, jumping out of the seat abruptly.
"Where are we meant to go? It's one o'clock in the morning, babe. Let's just go to bed. I'll make sure everything is locked up, alright?"
"Simon, i'm really not comfortable here." I sighed.
"I promise, we can leave first thing in the morning. There's no way we would be able to get out of town at this time." He sighed, running his fingers through my hair.
"Alright, first thing though." I sighed, knowing he was right.

I jolted awake hearing birds chirping outside. Realising it's morning, I quickly run into the guest room and my heart calms as i see Angelo still lying there.
I walk over to him. His mouth wide open, hair sticking to his cheeks. I laugh quietly at his sprawled out position. I move the hair off his face, whispering to him, "I promise i'll keep you safe."
His little eyes begin to open, "Mummy?"
"Mornin' baby." I smiled, "Ready for a new day?"
He nodded sleepily, "where is daddy?"
"Let's go see shall we?"
We walked downstairs to the kitchen, finding Simon over the stove.
"Morning handsome." I grinned, running my hands over his shoulders from behind.
"Well good morning. I thought i'd make us some breakfast before we hit the road." He smiled, turning round to see us both.
"Where are we going?" Angelo asked, yawning.
"I thought we could go on a little holiday." I smiled.
Angelo squealed excitedly, "I can't wait! Let's go get ready!"
"Alright you go brush your teeth!" I laughed.
He made his way to the bathroom while me and Simon stayed in the kitchen. I turned back to face Simon, wrapping my arms around him and resting my head on his chest.
"I just want this over with." I sighed.
"I know sunshine, it will be soon." He said, kissing my my head.
