"You're serious?" He asked, with wide eyes.
"Well yeah," I shrugged, "With things the way they are, we're basically together. Unless you don't want me to." I rushed out the last sentence.
"Of course I want you to. It's just- babe, wow." He was actually speechless.
"I haven't seen you like this since you proposed." I laughed softly.
"Do you know how happy this makes me?" He grinned.
I couldn't help but grin back at him. His eyes were so bright and his face held so much joy.
"I love you so much." He gushed, suddenly pulling me into a bone crushing hug.
"Mummy, Daddy?" A small voice was heard.
I slowly pulled away from Simon and turned to face Angelo.
"What's wrong, angel?" I asked, extending my arms out for him to run in to.
"I kind of want a biccy." He said quietly while I loaded him onto my hip.
"You kind of do, huh?" I repeated, smirking at him.
Nodding his head, he asked, "Why is daddy so happy?"
"Oh he's just in a good mood." I shrugged, "I've got two more little things to do before I can leave. How about you and daddy go out without me and I'll meet you later?"
"It's okay. I'll wait." He said, shaking his head.

"You're serious about this?" Laura asked, taking the wine glass from me.
"I am." I responded, sipping from mine.
"One hundred percent sure?"
"Yes Lau. I love the man. You know I never stopped." I sighed.
"I do know that, but I just want to make sure you're entirely sure." She frowned.
"I know, babe. Anyway, what's been happening with you?" I asked her.
"Just writing a couple new books." She shrugged.
"You know you need to let me read them." I smirked.
"Oh I know." She laughed.
"Mumma." A small voice called.
He had been upstairs with Simon while Laura and I talked.
"Yes, baby?" I replied.
"Daddy fell asleep." He pouted, walk-in towards me.
"Oh dear. You must've tired him out." I smiled, pulling him onto my lap.
"But I'm bored now." He sighed dramatically.
"Why don't you stay down here with me and mummy then?" Laura voiced.
"I thought it was adult time?" He frowned.
"Well, we've already had some of that." I shrugged.
"Plus, I've not seen you in a while and I've missed you loads." Laura added.
"I missed you too." He grinned over at her.
"You and auntie Lau pick out a movie while I go check on daddy." I smiled, placing him on the couch next to Laura.
I was grinning to myself while walking upstairs. Everything was working out.
