My wolf is clawing at my mind's walls to be let out. The pull towards the Man in front of me doubles when I take him in. He is tall, probably around 6'3'', and his hair is as black as midnight. My eyes scan down and my wolf howls as we take in his large muscular torso and abs, that are outlined by his form fitting shirt. He is sporting a black t shirt and tan cargo pants, much like my own. He has tan skin and chiseled facial features, but what knocks the breathe out of me is his eyes. They are a piercing vivid icy blue, that seems to look into me.

Mate! That's the one! That's our mate! She howls and yips and tears at the solid walls of my mind.

I gasp when the thought hits me, and apparently it just hit him too, because his face is covered in shock. A swirl of silver in his eyes signifies the mating bond beginning. I can't take my eyes away from his, even as I notice the two alpha's of the packs in a heated argument in the middle of no mans land between the two packs. Without any conscious thought my legs start walking towards him, and he towards me. When we are only about 2 feet apart, my breathe catches with the force of the pull. I want so badly to wrap my arms around his neck and run my hands through his thick black hair. I ache to feel his lips on mine and his corded arms around my waist, holding me to him. My hands twitch to just that, but I somehow manage to keep them firmly by my sides. But he has other ideas, his hand slowly comes up and cups my jaw, while he takes another step closer. His large hand on my skin, shoots fire through my veins and causes shivers to ripple across my skin.

I start to raise my hand to touch his high cheek bones, when he is suddenly ripped away from me. Another member of his pack has him by his arms and is dragging him back towards his pack. A growl rips through my throat and I start after him, but am stopped by a hand on my shoulder. I spin around to tell whatever bastard is behind me, who dares to stop me from going to my mate, to let the hell go, but the threat dies in my throat at my Beta's worried eyes.

"What?" I manage to spit out, which is the best I can do, for I'm trembling with the effort of stopping myself and my wolf from running to our mate.

"You can't I'm sorry." He says almost painfully.

"What the hell do you mean I can't!" I almost yell at him. If he thinks he can stop me from being with my mate-

"You can't be with him."

"To hell I can. Who says I can't?!" This time I do yell. My eyes rake across my pack, many cowering back from my piercing glare. My stormy eyes finally land on Alpha Blake and it hits me like a brick wall.

I can't be with him, because he is part of the pack that is threatening to take away our land.

I finally manage a curt nod after wrestling with my wailing wolf. I spin back around and say in as icy voice that I can manage with this much anger coursing through me.

"Fight me."
