"Noah, it was so nice to meet you! Well really just someone who can make my Silver happy, but you know..... I will be over in the morning to wish you off. Sleep good! And I do mean sleep!" My mom shouts, as me and Noah head towards one of the guest houses. We could have stayed at my house, but we decided we would feel more comfortable and private in a guest house that we could have to ourselves. My moms words ring in my ears and a blush rises to my cheeks, sleep indeed.

"How about pork chops?" I cut my eyes over to Noah's large frame leaning on his elbows at the bar separating the kitchen and living room.

"Sounds delicious." He walks around the granite counter before pulling himself up onto the cold surface facing me. I can't help but take in his form, especially his abs which are outlined quite nicely in his tight grey shirt. Hey I can't help it. I break my heavy gaze to gather the needed ingredients for our supper. All goes smoothly until I have to get a pan from one of the cabinets, and the one just happens to be between Noah's legs. When I realize this, a sigh breaks from my mouth before walking towards him.

"Hey sweet cheeks do you mind scooting down some?" I stand a little to his side and watch as be lifts his dark eyebrows.

"And why would I do that?"

"Beeeccccaauusssee, I need a pan and you are sitting over it." I point with one long finger at the cabinet under him.

"So? Just get it." He says cheekily with a knowing smirk breaking across his sharp features.

"Ugh! You are so immature!" I sigh again before squatting down and opening the cabinet door. When I finally work the pan I need from the others I stand back up, not realizing my mistake until its too late.

"Oh hi there sugar dumpling, didn't see you there." Noah teases from his position in front of me.

"Please don't ever call me that again, and do you want supper or not?"

"Unfortunately I am very hungry, but I guess it's in your best interest because that is a nice shirt and I would hate to rip it." He gives a very fake sad look. I slap his chest and scoff before turning towards the waiting stove.

When the pork chops are finally done along with a pan of very cheesy macaroni, me and Noah settle at the small breakfast table with full plates.

I wait for him to take a bite, just in case theirs poison or something, so he will die before me, maybe give me some warning.

"This is amazing!" He almost shouts after he swallows. "Who knew I'd be so lucky." The last part he almost whispers and I just barely catch it.

"Why's that?" I stuff some food in my mouth, awaiting his answer. He looks surprised I heard him but answers any ways.

"Well I found my mate, she's beautiful, she's an amazing if not slightly scary fighter, and an amazing cook. I mean, what else could I ask for?" I laugh a little at his reasoning before finishing my food.

When all the dishes are cleared and the kitchen cleaned we head upstairs to bed. When we reach the first door I stop.

"Here's your room." I start to walk on down the hall, but warm arms stop me.

"Where are you going?" Puzzlement fills his icy eyes, and he wraps his arms around my waist.

"To my room?" It comes out more of a question than intends in the face of his disbelief.

"You're not sleeping with me?" I see a flash of hurt cross his features, and my heart falls.

"Well...i didn't know.... I mean, well..... I didn't know you wanted... um... me too..." I stumble so bad over the words I doubt he caught the gist.
