I hear gasps from both packs, as I make my way to the middle of the no man's land. I raise one of my clenched fists and point it at their Alpha.
"Don't Sil-" my Alpha yells, but is cut off with a glare from me.
"You're challenging me!?" There Alpha asks bewildered.
"I didn't stutter." I stop when I reach the middle of the empty space.
A rough laugh comes from the mans throat. "Fine, whatever you say child." He keeps laughing as he starts walking towards me. I grit my teeth at the man's arrogance, any wolf brave enough to challenge an Alpha is either crazy or able. This man walking towards me shouldn't be to quick to assume the first is true for me.
"What is your name dear?" He asks in a mocking tone, which just adds gas to the fire of my rage.
"Silver Micollen." I grit out, digging my fingers into my palms so I wont reach out and strangle this bull headed Alpha.
"Silver? What an unusual name. I am Alpha Clarkson Planes. Now....... shall we get started?" He makes a fake yawn and I almost smile at his cockiness, he won't have it for long.
We both settle into starting positrons on the balls of our feet and our clenched fists upraised, but I can see that his stance is more for show. He is so confident that he can win, that he isn't even trying. His mistake. I feign a lunge to his right side, but in mid dive I jump into the air and twist over my right shoulder, bringing my right heel around with me. Clarkson moved to the left to avoid my lunge, which put his weight into the knock he receives to the side of the head from my roundhouse kick. I hit him squarely in the temple and he stumbles to his left almost falling to the ground. But he isn't getting away that easy. I bring my right knee up into his left side so that he is falling towards and I can hear a rib crack, but I'm still not done. When he bends down to clutch his side I bring my left knee up hitting him in the face, and breaking his nose. When he starts to stumble back I drag my right foot across the ground and knock his feet out from under him. He falls back onto his back and grunts from the impact. I grab his right arm and pull him up into a standing position, I make a come on motion with my index finger and he growls. He lunges clumsily towards me, I jump up slightly bringing my two fists together in a ball I slam them down onto the top of his head. He starts to fall face first at my feet but I bring my right knee up again and catch him in the head again. He flies back from the force of the two blow and lands in a heap on the ground.
There is not a sound through the clearing as we all watch to see if the broken heap moves. Just a bare flutter of a breath causes his chest to rise and murmurs break out through both packs. Murmurs of pride from mine and horror from the other. I sense Alpha Blake coming up behind me and I turn to meet him. I duck as his clenched fist comes flying towards my head. Out of instinct I grab his arm and use his momentum to flip him onto his back. When my mind catches back up to my body I let go of his arm and let my muscles relax slightly. I know he didn't mean anything by the punch that has been our 'handshake' for the past couple of years, I was just still on battle mode.
"Sorry." I say when he gets back to his feet rubbing his back. He waves his hand in a dismissive gesture, before looking over my shoulder. I spin around ready for another fight, and see a blond walking towards us.
"I'm the Beta, Mason......... What are you?" He directs the last question at me, with suspicion and wariness in his brown eyes.
"The same as everyone here." I answer with a slight edge in my voice.
"But I can't smell you, and you just beat an Alpha." He states, but my attention is drawn to a large figure heading our way. It's him, my mate. My heart rate increases, when his smell hits my nose again. My wolf suddenly springs to life again, ravaging the walls of my mind with her anxious claws.
"I'm Clarkson's son." My breath hitches, what if he doesn't want me because..... well I just almost killed his dad. My wolf whimpers at the prospect before howling again.
"My name is Noah." I was so absorbed in my thoughts, I hadn't noticed that both packs had retreated into opposite woods, leaving me and Noah alone. How the hell had I not noticed that.
"Silver?" My steel grey eyes snap to his icy blue ones as my name rolls perfectly off his tongue.
"Yes?" I question cautiously, awaiting his reaction. "Sorry about your da-" the breathe is knocked out of me when warm lips meld to mine. I gasp as I'm suddenly pushed against the hard bark of a tree, how did we just cross 30 feet? My body melts and fills with fire. shivers run down my spine and electricity shoots to the tips of toes. He presses his hard body against mine, one arm around my waist and the other hand tangled in my hair he pulled from it's ponytail. When did that happen? My frazzled mind can't keep up with the happenings, the only thing it can focus on is this man in front of me. I wrap one of my arms around his neck and tangle my fingers in his silky hair. My other hand runs across the smooth planes of his chest that is only centimeters away from mine. His warm tongue moves across my bottom lip and I gasp at the sensation, he takes the opportunity to slide his into my mouth. I almost die when he hoists me up and I wrap my legs around his waist. His mouth slowly leaves mine and travels down my jawline. My skin feels scorched where his lips touch, and I have to stifle a moan when he kisses the point where my neck reaches my shoulder. He stops at that place and whispers I to my exposed neck.
"You're mine." At his words my wolf how louder, and even my human side warms with the idea.
I feel the sharp tips of his canines brush against my neck, and I finally do let out a moan. He growls in response, his broad chest humming against mine. His sharp teeth sink into my neck and I gasp at the sensation. A mixture of slight pain and consuming pleasure rips through my body, causing me to tug harder on his hair that is tickling my cheek. His warm tongue gently slides over the puncture wounds, and another wave of pleasure rips through my body. He finally kisses back up to my mouth, but I'm not stopping here. I drop my legs from his waist and grab the hem of his black t shirt. I pull up and he obediently raises his arms above his head. Before I can even think, my wolf pushes out a bit. I throw his shirt to the ground and run my hands across his muscular chest and down over the ridges of his abs, I can't help but ogle over his perfect body, and I know my eyes widened to saucers when they fell on his v-line. My train of thought gets broken when two arms wrap found my body again. One to the small of my back and one to the top. I slowly raise my gaze to his crystal blue one and smirk at his lustful eyes, my wolf guides me in my next step and I bring my lips to his neck. I slowly kiss from below his ear to the junction of his neck and shoulder. I slowly move my tongue around the spot, and smile against his warm skin when he sucks in a sharp breathe. With him still pressed against me, a blush starts to creep up my neck.
My canines shoot out from my gums and I gingerly poke his neck. I shiver as his grip tightens around me and he somehow manages us to get closer, with my back still the the tree. I sink my teeth into his neck and pure ecstasy courses through me at the moan that escapes his lips. I slide my tongue across the two holes and kiss the spot. I kiss it again but am suddenly I interrupted by my Alpha's voice in my head.
Silver! I've been trying to get your attention for the last 5 minutes. I didn't want to see all that. Get back here now we have a problem.
I blush knowing Alpha Blake knows what we were doing. I pull back away from Noah's neck and catch him looking at me.
"Who was it?" His deep voice asks, sending shivers down my spine.
"My Alpha. I've got to go." A sudden pain fills my heart at the thought of losing sight of his face.
"Ill meet you back here in an hour, ok?" His voice again makes me weak at the knees, and I can only nod my ascent. He steps back from me and reaches down to pick up his shirt. I take quick painful steps away from him. but stop when his deep voice breaks the silence when I reach the edge of the sense trees.
"Silver?" he asks questioningly. I can only lift an eyebrow. "I can smell you."
My heart quickens at those words, before I turn with a last painful look at Noah, and head into the woods.
