"Now we meet here today so I can explain our situation, and a little about ourselves." I let the words hang in the air, while sweeping my eyes across the small group of gathers pack members. Even with their numbers and individual strength, I worst comes to worst I can take them without difficulty. But I hope it doesn't come to that.

"Now. My name is Silver Micollen of the Gray Forest Pack, and this is Noah Planes, my mate, of the Cold Peak Pack." I inform the onlookers with a small gesture towards Noah who is currently on my right side. I stand on the patio at the back of the house with the gathered members in a loose group on the grass in front of me.
"We were just passing through your territory when some of your men decided to jump Noah and take him. So respectfully I requested him back, but when that was refused I took certain steps to get him back."
"Like killing our pack members and our Alpha?" A middle aged blonde man, who introduced himself as John the pack doctor asks.
"Unfortunately, yes." I let a small sigh out at the end. I was in a rate when I killed the Alpha and now it has has set us pack in our travels. So I can only hope my idea pans out. "Now we have to be on our way again-" I'm cut off by several gasps and growls of disapproval. But I understand, who would want a random stranger challenging and killing your Alpha, and then ditching their new role? I most certainly wouldn't. I raise a hand to explain and a bush falls once again. "We have a very important journey we have to resume, one that will affect many lives. I will meet with him first, and unless he is not suitable in my eyes, your current Beta will become Alpha. Will you please step forward." More whispers break through the crowd at my words before a middle aged man with light teddy bear brown hair and smiling green eyes, breaks away from the crowd and heads towards my platform.
I study him as he walks, an the other members reactions as he passes. He seems to be a well liked man and a kind one at that as he casts friendly smiles to the pack members he passes.
He finally reaches the edge of the deck and dips his head respectfully. "I am Beta Lincoln Grace ma'am." He raises his head but respectfully keeps his eyes lowered. I inspect him a second more before giving a nod of approval.
"You will be fine." I give him a smile before resting a hand on his shoulder and raising my voice. "I Silver Micollen, Alpha of the Blue River Pack, here by pass my title and duties to Lincoln Grace." I state the name of this pack that I had learns from one of the three stooges, and am surprised when it rolls smoothly off my tongue. Already the Alpha role was kicking in. "As of now, you have your new Alpha." I remove my hand from his shoulder and sigh when I feel the new attachment to these people slowly ebb from me. But I smile when a great cheer erupts from the small crowd, that surges up and surrounds Lincoln. While still at a respectable distance.
"Now if I can have your attention for a moment longer." My voice rings with authority and all heads, even the new Alpha's ,snap towards me. "We have best to be on our way, and I would like to request for provisions and directions for the next leg of our journey." All heads nod at different tempos, some more reluctant than others.
"Would you follow me please?" Lincoln disjoins from the crowd and with a swoop of his hands heads around the side of the large house. I throw Noah a look to see him if he agrees, and with a nod of his head we bound off the deck and around the house to catch up to Lincoln.
Noah reaches for my hand as we head down the gravel road towards the end I one of the long streets that run through the pack village. I slide my fingers between his and firmly grasp his warm hand.
I was never one for goodby gestures like this, hell I was never one for relationships at all before Noah. But with him it's like I know its not for show like so many guys are, its genuinely because he cares about me.
A small smile moves my mouth and I squeeze his hand gently as we near a building set a little apart from the other houses, that has a plain square floor plan. It looks more like a giant storage unit.
"Here we are, the pack's food storage. Get whatever you need and I will send you on your way. there should backpack hanging just inside the door." He gives us a smile before heading over to and sitting on a wooden bench I noticed by the building. I give Noah a look before releasing his hand and walking up to the building. When I reach the white door at the far side of the metal building I grab the handle and turn, eager to be on our way. It opens without hesitation and I step inside to pitch darkness with Noah at my heels. I step inside but stop when the lights flicker on automatically, causing Noah to bump into my back. An airy laugh escapes my lips before I spot the packs hanging on metal pegs from the wall to our left. I grab a large back pack an toss another to Noah before walking the rest of the short hallway.
When we reach the end w turn to the left, to the only doorway, and step inside. Instantly lights flicker on from the high ceiling above us, slowly warming up. I look around in as at the sheer amount of food. It's like a Walmart with all the food on organized racks and in labeled bins.
Noah lets out a soft whistle. "Man."
"Yeah, talk about over buyers." I sling the bag from my shoulder and unzip it, and Noah does the same.
He pulls the mouth of his pack wide before shooting me a lopsided smile that makes my heart jump.

"Ready to go shopping sugar dumpling?"
