I almost feel bad for the men.

Almost.

In 10 seconds flat after a whirl of elbows knees and fists the three men lay around me, all grunting in pain from various injuries. And I continue my advance unscathed.

"What is the meaning of this!?" I hear the Alpha's grating voice from the middle of the mass of people. I guess he heard the fighting but didn't know the source of it. I let my hands hang by sides in fists and spread my knees apart in anticipation.

When the tall man finally breaks through the crowd his eyes first take in the line of 5 bodies behind me before landing on my slender form with disbelief in his eyes.

"So, are you going to give my mate back or am I going to have to take him?" My voice is filled with venom and my barely controlled anger. The Alpha's face finally shirts back I to his blank mask a slight smile curving his lips.

"Neither darling. Mind giving me a name?" He takes a step forward me and another look of surprise crosses his face when I take one forward too. My stormy gaze pierces his brown one and I take another step forward.

"Are you challenging me?" His voice is pure astonishment, his mouth dropping into an open 'o'.

"If that's what I have to do to get Noah back, then yes. So is it?" I narrow my gaze.

"Honey ill crush you, but you're not getting him back." He lets out an amused chuckle but its cut short by me lunging to his right side and sweeping his legs from under him so fast he doesn't know what happened until he is on his stomach on the mossy ground. The rage fueling my fight allows me to move to fast to track, to strong to compare, and most importantly too determined to give a flip about my opponent.

He starts to push himself up but I grab the back of his neck and haul him up. I have to hall my arm almost straight up to keep his feet I the ground. I walk to the nearest tree and press his forehead against it.

"You going to let me have him now?" I ask with a calm voice.

"Never." His voice is strained with my fingers squeezing his neck. I pull back his head before slamming it into the tree. Bark explodes from the impact and a bloody gash drips blood into his eyes.

"How about now?"

"No." How words are all I need. I pull back my arm and slam it into the tree again this time the wood of the tree splinters, and even with werewolves tough bones I hear the Alpha's skull crack. I sigh, I shouldn't have met him off that easy. Dropping the dead weight from my hand I turn back to the now Alpha-less pack.

"Look. I don't want to hurt anymore of you. I just want my mate. And I'm sorry about your Alpha." I sighs me rub a hand over my face and through my long tangled hair. I look back at the pack to see expressions of disgust and terror but am I stead met moth looks of wonder and amazement. I start to puzzle but loud cheers erupt from the crowd. The faces split into grins and if there would have been any women there there would have been tears of joy.

Maybe I did these people a favor, I just don't know how big.
