A/N: I had a pet wolf until I was 8 and he died. (No joke)
-Noah
"Shhh don't talk babe." Her fake finger nail trails down the side of my face, and I grab her wrist to pull it away from me. With the look of those nails I could lose an eye.
"I don't know who you are, but I'm not Chris." I stand up quickly and move away from the obviously drunk blonde girl on the couch.
"Oh Chris you're sooooo funny." She slurs giggling in the end.
I sigh running a hand over my face and through my hair.
I wish Silver was here, she would know what to do. Actually she would probably just get the girl a blanket and tell her to go to bed.
So that's exactly what I'll do. I head to the hallway closet still wishing she was here.

I can't help the sadness and guilt that floods through my veins, but what surprises me is the sudden fury that burns through me. And then with a start I realize its Silver's.
What could have happened that would make her so mad?

The answer hits me the same time her scent does.

With a gasp I yank open the already cracked patio door and rush out into the night, following her scent into the woods. I'm not losing anyone else I love, especially not tonight.

-Silver
I don't know why I stop, but before I know it I'm sprawled on the ground. But what surprises me even more is the silent tears sliding down my face following their own tracks, carrying my sadness with them but not away.
The bright moon shines through the trees thick canopy, scarce rays dappling the ground in silver light.
I curl into a ball and wrap my arms around myself. And somehow amongst the flood of emotions inside of me, sleep finds me.
I awake to bright sunlight, and for a moment in my sleep gaze I feel as if I'm floating. The sunlight filters through the trees and the room beneath the branches is alit with stripes of bright light. A small smile finds its way into my lips as I push myself up into a sitting position.
I take in the green moss beneath me, and the bright flowers surrounding me. I feel as if I'm in a dream, a fairy tale.
But the castle crumbles when I see a dark figure slumped against a tree about thirty feet away, and the reason for me being out here crashes back down on me.
Noah's scent surrounds me, and I realize that was probably one d the main reasons this feels like a fairy tale.
I don't bother to wake him as I stalk past, back towards the pack village. Judging by the sun, it is somewhere around 10, which means the pack is gathering in two hours.
I hear a sharp intake of breath and the rustle of fabric as Noah stands an starts walking after me.
"Silver! It wasn't what I know you think." I spin around, and glare at him.
"And what exactly do I think it is?! Huh!?" He remains silent. "Exactly. So tell me Noah, why did you do it?" I don't really want to know, but it slips out anyways. I clench my fists to stop them from shaking.
"Silver. I didn't do anything. She thought I was some guy named Chris. She just walked into the house kept calling me Chris."
I hesitate.
"I heard babe not Chris." I spin to face him and he nearly bumps into me as he tries to stop.
"Well that too." He rubs the back of his neck absentmindedly. "But Silver you have to believe me. I would never do anything to hurt you, especially not that." His eyes meet mine, and the sincerity in them convinces me.
"Who was the little bitch, I need to....uh... Talk to her." I turn to head back to the village.
"Silver stop, she was drunk. She will think you're crazy, she honestly thought I was this Chris guy." Groaning I turn to face him again, I really wanted to yell at someone.
"Silver..... About the plan thing, I understand you need time b-" I hold up my hand effectively cutting him off.
"I owe you an apology. I've done some pretty bad thing just in thee past month or so, and you have never even batted an eye. So I'm sorry. I overreacted, and left you when you needed me, and for that I am sincerely sorry." I kept my eyes locked with his, so he would know I mean what I'm saying.
"Oh Silver." His strong arms wrap around me and his forehead rests against mine. "How in the world did I ever get so lucky?" His eyes look into mine and I can't help but smile.
"I could ask the same thing. But I'm not going to question it? I'm just going to enjoy it." He smiles against my lips as I kiss him.
How did I get so lucky?
