I take off at a sprint towards my pack. Even with Noah's voice ringing in my ears as he follows me, I don't stop. For the second time I'm leaving my mate.
But this time, he's not leaving me.
I pick up my speed until I can't hear his voice anymore, but I can still hear him crashing through the trees after me. Right when I'm about to break from the cover of the trees I almost bowl into one of my pack members who is guarding the perimeter. At the last second I put my hands onto his shoulders and use the momentum to flip my body over his head and land solidly on the other side without stopping.

I break into the clearing still at a dead sprint and almost hit the Alpha. I dig my heels into the group leaving a path of torn grass where I broke the soft earth.

"Good to see your back Silver, but why are you running? Problems with the dear old mate already?" His mouth twists into a smirk, and I have to remember he's the Alpha before I retort something.

"No, but I think I know what can heal Jonathan." With my words, the smirk falls from his face and is replaced with a grim expression.

"Don't mess around with me Silver." His tone is clipped and sharp. I open my mouth to answer when a sharp pain in my side sucks the words from me.
Noah!
I take off again at a run towards the side of the clearing I came from.

I hear branches breaking, and loud grunts coming from where the guard was stationed.
When I round the last tree, I see Noah and Alex, the guard, rolling around on the forest floor.
They both have dirt all over their clothes and leaves in their hair. It's so comical a laugh slips past my lips.
Both stop fighting at the sound, and look up towards me, Noah from underneath Alex, gives him a shove and stands up.

"Would you tell him to let me pass?" He sends a glare Alex's way and I quirk an eyebrow. Alex grumbles before picking himself off the ground and walking away.

"Thanks Silver." I here Noah say, but I'm already gone. I make it back to Alpha Blake in record time. His face is slightly amused at my little dashing endeavors, but it goes stony again when I stop in font of him.

"I think its me."

"What the hell are you talking about Silver, this isn't some fairy tale shit, where true lovers kiss heals all or whatever. " He bites out, and I can't help but to grit my teeth and clench my fists. I open my mouth to bite back when I'm interrupted.

"If it was some fairy tale shit, it would be Julie who could heal him. No, what she means is her blood can heal him." Noah's deep voice calms my sizzling nerves, and when he steps up beside me, our arms brushing, a smile creeps onto my lips despite the situation. Just having him near me makes me calm, and I don't even know him yet!

"And how do you figure this?" Alpha Blake questions.

And so Noah tells him, the whole story, and even some parts he didn't get to in the version I heard. Such as the old one said the silver had to be in liquid form.

That old hag, talking to a bunch of strangers about my blood. That's actually pretty gross.

"But how are we going to get a bunch of werewolves to drink blood, we're not vampires?" Alpha Blake seems to be speechless except for that one question. Um hello, my blood you're talking about.

"Her blood actually tastes sweet." Noah says casually with a shrug of his shoulders. Me and the Alpha send him shocked looks before Alpha Blake speaks up.

"I did not want to know that." He finally coughs out, causing my cheeks to burn.

"Well are we too go test this far fetched theory?" Alpha Blake turns away from us and starts walking. Me and Noah head side by side after him, our arms brushing and my heart skipping beats.

"Really? You had to say that?" I whisper to him.

He only shrugs and gives me a cocky smirk.

That cheeky bastard.

When we catch up to Alpha Blake he is standing beside Jonathan, who is laying on a bed made of spare clothes and leaves and looking deathly pale.
Kneeling down on his other side I place a hand on his forehead.
"He's freezing."

I raise my left wrist to my moth and extend my canines.

Here goes nothing. I think before sinking my teeth into my wrist above a vein. Surprisingly it doesn't hurt much, only a slight stinging, like a shot, no where near the pleasure Noah's bite gave- ok I'm getting off track.
Blood runs from the two puncture wounds and starts to drip onto the ground, and I know I have to hurry before the wounds heal.

I turn my wrist over and place it against Jonathan's parted lips. His lips are a light purple and freeze my wrist where they touch. I hold my wrist against his mouth until I feel the wounds close and the blood stops flowing.
I pull my arm away and wipe the remaining blood on a leaf. Yeah thats real sanitary.
I turn my gaze back to Jonathan who is still lying as rock still as before.
"Maybe I have to-"
Im interrupted when suddenly he takes a large gulp of air and his eyes fly open.
But his eyes aren't their usual green, they are pitch black and they have blood pooled at the bottom inside his eye.
Gasping I stumble back.
His gaze snaps to me, gives a curt nod in my direction, before jumping up and running off almost faster than even my wolf eyes can catch.

"What the hell just happened?" I yell at Alpha Blake and Noah standing in shock in front of me.

"Remember my earlier comment about us not being vampires? Well it seems I spoke too soon." Blake answers still just as shocked as us.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I cry out.

"I think we just created a hybrid. " he answers with worry etched into his face.

Oh my god.
