"Hope you enjoyed your stay!" The boy behind the desk says. Thank god it's not the same bubbly blonde, because her nose was quite pretty and Id really hate to have broke it.

"We did, thank you." Noah says a slight edge to his voice. I snicker at his emphasis on we. The young man across the counter sends Noah a glare and then turns to me with a sweet smile.

"Have a nice day."

"Will do, thanks." I politely answer before pulling Noah away from the young blonde with out police showing up.

"You don't have to kill him ya know." I smile a little before pushing open the door to the hotel.

"He deserves it." He mumbles tightening his grip on my hand.

"Hmmm, a little jealous aren't we now?"

"Yes." I laugh at his word, before heading to the pack car we are using for our trip. We decided that even though we can travel faster in wolf form, we can carry our bags and other stuff easier in a car.

"Don't worry the only thin I felt for him was gratefulness for him taking that barbie's place. So our first lead is in a little town called Newland, it is about 3 hours away from here, so you can drive." I head to the passenger side and climb in. I am already buckled when Noah finally gets in the black jeep.

"Why do I have to drive?" He groans as he puts the key in the ignition and starting the car.

"Because...... you're the gentleman, and that is the gentlemen like thing to do." I smile as he pulls out of the large Parkin lot and heads out onto the road.

"Makes perfect sense." He mumbles, but a smile breaks his glum expression. His pearly hearts make my heart skip a beat ,so to occupy myself from the gorgeous man beside me, I type in the address for our next destination in the GPS stuck to the windshield.

"Turn right in 0.6 miles." The mechanical voice informs us.

"One time when I was younger I changed the accent on my aunt's phone to German. So when her family went on vacation they had to listen to Hitler for a week!" I bark out some laughs, as the memory comes back to me.

"Oh! I got a joke!" I suddenly remember a joke my cousin told me.

"Ok so what did the Nazi's enemy say when they were in Germany?" I look at Noah who raises his eyebrows. I wait a minute until he shrugs his shoulders.

I raise my arm straight at a slight angle! my hand a straight blade. "The snow was this high." I laugh, and slap my knee.

Noah looks at me funny.

"I don't get it."

"You're kidding." I give him a shocked look by he only shakes his head. I sigh. "The Nazi's salute to hitler was that move. But there enemies did it and said the snow was this high."

"Ohhhh..." He finally laughs, but I frown.

"You ruined it." I cross my arms and settle into my seat.

"Ok ok, here's one. Why did the blonde sell her car?" His face has a contagious smile, and my own lips curve upwards.

"I don't know."

He looks over at me before answering.

"For gas money!" We both crack up, I clutch my stomach and gasp for breathe.

"That's hilarious!"

"Ok ok, here's another one. How did the blonde try to kill the fish?" he grins more and glances in my direction before turning back to the road.

I think over it but shrug.

"She tried to drown it. Wait here's another one. Why was the blonde fired from the m&m factory?"

"Just tell me."

"She kept throwing away the w's!" I start laughing so hard I have to put a hand on my forehead and suck in deep breathes. Noah's deep laugh ends suddenly in a snort. And I laugh so much harder.

"Did you just snort!?" I choke out between my loud laughs.

"Maybe." He mumbles, his face turning red. I bend over my head between my knees trying to catch my hiccuping breathe.

3 hours later we enter Newland, and our aloof moods turn serious as the point of our trip comes back to full focus.

"The lead was that the pack that lives in this area was visited by an elderly she wolf back in the fall of last year. She was said to have performed a miracle and healed some member, so it sounds like our wanderer." I glance over at Noah to see him nodding his head.

"Yup, sounds like our old wolf."
