49|"all a big set up"

"The truth is your two supposed best friends actually treat you like shit, but you're lost as a fucking puppy, and don't realize a damn thing! They set all of us up!" Damien snapped.

That was the truth, but without the explanation.

"Set what up?!" Beth shrieked.

"Shut the fuck up!" Grayson screamed at Damien.

"They're fucking manipulating you, Beth! They're messing with your whole head! Ethan and Grayson aren't what you think they are!" I screamed.

Ethan tightened his grip on the collar of my shirt like how he used to do before, "I swear to God!"

Beth pulled the back of Ethan's shirt, pulling him off me, "Ethan get the fuck off him!"

Ethan obeyed her and took his grip off me, finally letting me go. He backed up and stood beside Grayson, they were both behind Beth eyeing Damien and I.

"Damien and I didn't do shit, Ethan and Grayson did!" I announced.

Beth's brows dug down in confusion.

I can't believe she's confused. I can't believe she hasn't figured it out yet. I can't believe the twins haven't told her the truth.

"Damien, you tell her. I'm irrelevant to her now," I ordered Damien.

Beth scoffed, "You're both irrelevant to me after you cheated."

"Irrelevancy and cheaters don't belong here, you two should get lost," Grayson butted in.

I slipped out an annoyed fake giggle, "Manipulators and liars don't belong anywhere."

Ethan and Grayson are actually trying to avoid the situation because they know for a fact, Beth will leave them once she finds out.

"We didn't fucking cheat!" I blurted out.

Beth's little lover boys set me up.

It all started with Ethan and Grayson asking me politely to stay away from Beth, but I denied and it all went downhill from there.

Throughout our entire relationship, Ethan and Grayson came up with plans to fuck up my entire life, my personal life.

My dog was my best friend, until one day he disappeared. I spent weeks looking for him, setting up posters everywhere, asking everyone I knew if they've seen him, but no luck.

But, one night, Ethan, Grayson, Beth, some of their other friends and I were all hanging out at the Dolans house.

I went into Ethan's bathroom to do my business. And, I had a receipt for the restaurant we all went to that night, so I decided to throw it away.

I reached down into the cabinet under Ethan's sink where his trash can is placed and there was a gold dog tag attached to red dog collar that looked identical to the one that my dog had piled on top of their garbage in the can.

My mind was racing and in beyond shock, I didn't want to believe that, that would be what I was thinking, but it was.

I didn't hesitate to confront the twins, but they came up with some bullshit excuse.

"We found it in the woods when we were out hunting... We didn't know if we were supposed to tell you or not, we knew it'd break your heart," I remember Ethan explaining to me.

At the time, I believed them. But, now I know it was them.

Till this day, I don't know if they set my dog free, sold him, or killed him. But, all I know is that they're the reason I don't have him anymore.

Ethan and Grayson tried to take something I love away from me because that's what I did to them. I took Beth away from them.

What they did to break Beth and I too was just as disgusting.

They payed some chick to make out with me at a party when Beth and I were together. Beth thankfully forgave me for something I had no cause in, but the twins fucked me over again.

The both of them made an imitation key to get inside my own home in the middle of the night and payed the same girl to sleep naked beside me in my bed.

I was dead asleep I had no idea what was going on.

That morning, Beth and I had plans for breakfast, so she showed up at my house. And, she saw a sight that any girlfriend would wish it was just a bad dream.

I wish it was a bad dream too, but it was real. I was just as shocked and disturbed as Beth was.

Beth lost her shit and freaked out, I wouldn't blame her. What she walked into was probably such a traumatizing sight to see.

So, then she ended us and I never talked to her or the twins again.

And, still to this day, Beth is convinced I cheated on her and the twins are completely innocent people.

It was all a big set up.

"What do you mean? I walked in on you sleeping next to a naked girl!" Beth pointed her finer into my chest. "And, I caught a girl who was soon to be naked next to you!" She pointed her finger in Damien's chest.

"Because Ethan and Grayson payed a girl to do that!" I shouted.

"They did that to you too?" Damien asked wide eyed.

"Huh?" Beth raised a brow.

"You guys sound ridiculous," Ethan laughed.

"You two are insane. There's something fucked up in the head with you guys," I mumbled.

"Payed a girl? T-t do what?" Beth stuttered.

Damien and I glanced at each other and I let him speak.

"They payed the Mady girl to send me flowers and say weird things and show up at my house. I didn't even know that girl," Damien spoke out.

Beth's eyes shot down to the floor in lack of understanding on what was happening.

She turned around to face the twins, "What are they talking about?"

"Beth, I have no idea," Ethan said.

"Let's just leave, they're making up crazy shit," Grayson suggested.

My eyes rolled, "Beth! Get this through your head! Ethan and Grayson payed a girl to make it seem like we cheated! I was in love with you, why would I want another girl to jeopardize us?" I shouted.

"That's not all they did," Damien muttered.

"Come on, Damien. Put your part in," I egged him on.

Damien gulped, "My house, my car, that girl, and I think my beating was all them."

Ethan shook his head, "Okay, this is too much-"

"What do you mean?" Beth asked innocently interrupting Ethan.

"Ethan and Grayson fucked up my house and I ended up getting a beating from my father. They destroyed my car to ruin things that I loved. And, they were the ones that jumped me that one night after work. And, they set me up with the Mady girl," Damien explained.

Beth's eyes instantly widened once Damien mentioned his car.

"G-grayson's shoe," Beth whispered.

"What?" I asked.

Beth rose her hand up to her lips that were slightly parted. I think she was finally catching on.

"Grayson's shoe had pink paint on it... the same paint on Damien's car," Beth whispered.

I glanced up at Ethan and Grayson and I noticed the slight change of expression on both of their faces. They both parted their lips ever so slightly, their eyes opened a little more wider, and their breathing hitched.

"You guys have been telling the truth..." Beth murmured in shock.

ugh finals week is starting tomorrow so im going to be inactive the rest of this most likely bc i gotta focus on school. but i have 2 weeks off for winter break and then i can post hella.
