"I couldn't be prouder than this graduating class than I am right now!" Mr. Kelsey smiled into the mic, "There's a big world waiting for all of you outside of here, and I can't wait for you all to experience it- safely though! Good luck to all of you! And, just like how the Dolans said, 'onto better things'!"
After a long awaiting 4 years, we were finally able to throw our graduation caps into the air.
All of us removed the caps from our heads and chucked it into the air as hard as we could as we hooted and hollered.
I smiled largely watching all the graduation caps being throwing into the air and slowly falling back down.
Everything was in slow motion, like in the movies.
It was when one of those times where there's an upbeat but sentimental song playing in the background and everyone just seems to be moving a little slower and the camera focuses on all the good vibes.
It's one of those moments you know you're going to miss while you're living in it. One of those incredibly bittersweet moments that I'll never forget.
"Congratulations graduates!" Mr. Kelsey proudly cheered.
Following tradition, after graduation everyone takes photos together outside on the school's football field.
All of the graduates and families walked from the stage and made their way outside.
Once I got there I began taking photos with some of my good friends.
"Beth!" Cameron, Jack, and Aaron yelled running towards me in their gowns.
I haven't talked to these boys in ages only because they hangout with the Dolans and I've done whatever that's possible to avoid the Dolans.
The three of them rushed up to me and extended their arms out, smothering me.
"We miss you!" Jack cried out.
I grinned and let go of them, "I miss you all... promise me we'll all hang out during summer?"
"Promise," The three of them said in sync.
"Come on, let's get a picture!" Cameron suggested taking his phone out.
Cameron searched around for someone to take the photo until he saw his mother to take the photo for us.
Cameron handed her his phone and jogged back to us, throwing his arm over Jack with me being at the very end beside Aaron.
A genuine smile formed on my face for the picture and my eyes wandered behind Cameron's mom to see Ethan and Grayson taking a photo with Mr. Kelsey.
My smile slightly faded out of anxiousness noticing them there. And, out of hope that neither one of the boys noticed them too.
Before Cameron's mom captured the photo on his phone Aaron yelled out, "Hey, Dolans! Get your ass over here!"
My breathing slightly hitched once Ethan and Grayson smiled and nodded their heads.
The two of them walked up with their smiles still present.
I kept my maturity and decency up and stayed where I was. Where I was would result in me having to be right by one of them.
Ethan walked up before Grayson did and he hesitantly threw his arm over my shoulder probably asking for my consent.
I hesitated as well just out of discomfort, but I put my arm around Ethan's waist firmly.
