On my morning jog today, purposely, I ran by Beth's house. I do it every day now, it has become a routine. It's the closest I get to her nowadays.
I haven't talked to her since the night of the party, when she figured everything out.
Her sweet, supple, and angelic face still keeps my mind racing every night, avoiding any form of comfortable sleep.
Ethan told me that Beth's witty comments and silly jokes still manage to ring throughout his head when he's taking strolls down the road in his truck. Same thing goes for me, but I'm just not driving.
God, I miss Beth Young more than I've ever missed anything before.
Jeez, just announcing her name inside my head makes my tongue feel numb when it grinds against my teeth.
I'm so in love with her. I can't stop thinking about Beth Young.
She owns my mind. She lives within me and that'll never go away. She stole my thoughts and my mind process and made it all about her, that's all it ever is for me, her; all about her.
I'm under a spell, in an obsession over thee Beth Young.
"Excuse you, sir!" Some middle aged woman announced as I ran into her while I was caught up thinking about Beth, per usual.
I blinked quickly, fading back into reality, "O-oh, I'm so-so sorry ma'am!"
The woman rolled her eyes and continued on with her power walk.
"Damn teens," She mumbled under her breath mom walking away.
I guess I was running full speed that whole time, but with no clue as to where I was running and who was around me, that I almost nearly knocked over one of Beth's neighbors.
I placed my hands on the balls of my knees, trying to catch my breath.
Hard and heavy pants left the creases of my mouth grasping for some sort of air. As I heavily panted, large clouds left my mouth from the cold February morning weather.
I must've been running as if I was chasing something, chasing her.
Seems to be as if I were because once I caught my breath, I glanced up and the house in front of me was Beth's.
I gulped.
I haven't been this close to her house in months. Usually, I just run past her house every day, but from across the street. I admire her house from a distance and give her the space she's been asking for.
But, I got so carried away with thinking of her, I ended up at her house.
I placed my hands onto my bare hips and my eyes examined her home inspecting to see if her family has made any renovations.
"Same as last time," I muttered to myself still examining her house.
It might have been awful weird for me to do that, but it's the closest thing I could get from being by her.
