2 months later

"Graduation day, little sis," Charles nudged the top of my head, slightly messing up my professionally done curled hair.

"Charles!" I groaned and tried to out my hair back in place.

For the very rare time, Charles wasn't shirtless and in sweat pants, but he did have a slice of pizza in his hand. He was wearing more formal clothing because of my graduation.

I was eating some food before the Graduation was going to begin. Usually, everyone goes out to eat with their friends at a restaurant having one last good time before we're officially out of high school.

But, I don't have much friends to go make one last memory with.

And, of course, Charles had to mention it.

"The hell are you doing alone at hone before graduation?" Charles scoffed.

I swallowed down my pizza, "I prefer it that way."

All of a sudden, Charles slammed his fist down onto our granite identical to the time he did after the first day of school when I told him that my day was average.

"Bullshit Beth! Average isn't good enough and never will be! Did you make your senior year average?" Charles shouted.

I chuckled, "Trust me, Charles. My senior year was the opposite of average."

He narrowed his eyes at me wondering if I was actually telling the truth.

"Why aren't you never with Ethan and Grayson anymore? They were like brothers to you," Charles asked.

"Key word, were," I muttered.

"What?!" Charles dramatically shouted.

My eyes widened at his reaction.

"We just had a falling out," I muttered under my breath.

His brows deeply furrowed, "No way."

"Yes way," I rolled my eyes.

"But, the three of you were so close. They were like brothers to you more than I was," Charles said.

Yeah, that's true. But, brothers don't do what they did to me.

"There's no way just a falling out ended your guys friendship," Charles stated. "There  has to be more."

"Shit happened, Charles. I don't feel like explaining the whole shit show," I barked.

"Did they do something?" He asked.

My eyes shot down in sadness as I got flash backs from the night when I found out everything. I'm still not over it.

I looked back up at my brother and slightly nodded my head, "I hate them."

"They'd never hurt you," Charles mumbled.

Ethan and Grayson explained to me that what they did was out of love and that they'd never do anything to harm me in anyway. But, I think about it every day and it just breaks me more and more.
