On this day, Kim Jonghyun from the band Shinee has passed away. Many are claiming it is suicide but it is not confirmed as yet. He was 27 years old, and was about to have a comeback.

Honestly this news devastated me and shocked me at the same time. How oblivious were all of us, when he had clearly been hinting at it in song and in interviews? How many times have we seen him on screen with a smile on his face when in reality, he could've been suffering and going through so much?

Idols are human. Kim Jonghyun was human. His mental illness should've been taken more seriously. Depression should be taken more seriously. Please, think twice before you say something to a friend, stranger, or even an artist. Think twice before saying something hateful to anyone.

Everyone is going through something wether we like it or not. I'm honestly at a loss of words. I have no idea how to express this. I spent hours crying my eyes out, and can only imagine what everyone else is going through.
