Chapter 33 😴

Justin's pov:

I wake up and adjust to the light. I turn my body around to see Raegan sitting up on the bed.

"Hey you're up?" I ask.

"Yea."

"How long?"

"All night." He says. I sit up on the bed also and look at him.

"Why?"

"Couldn't sleep." Is all he says.

"Are you tired?" I ask. He just nods.

"Well I'm going to go downstairs for a little. Get some sleep." I tell him.

"I could try." He says looking at me. He looks exhausted.

I wrap my arms around his neck and hug him. He looks down at me and hugs back. Before I leave the room, I give him a quick kiss. He smiles at me and I walk out. I go down the stairs into the kitchen. My mom is there.

"Goodmorning." She says.

"Hi." I say. I'm still upset at her.

"You are going go start school again next week, okay?"

"What?"

"Yea." She says nodding.

"But, Raegan. He-"

"That's not my business. It's not my fault he's here."

"Mom."

"You are going back to school. That's final."

"Ugh fine." I take an apple and go back upstairs. I quietly to into my room and see Raegan still up, looking up at the ceiling.

"Babe?"

"Yea?" He says still looking at the ceiling. I go over and sit on the bed.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"Nothing. It just feels weird here. I haven't been a normal house with anyone but my friends in like 8 years."

"I understand. You'll get used to it though." I tell him. He nods but then looks at me.

"Am I getting in the way?"

"No. Why would you think that?"

"Because you are fighting with your parents and best friend over me. I want to stay with you, I just feel in the way."

"Oh baby." I laugh getting on top of him and puting my head in his neck.

"You're fine Rae, I promise. Now don't be bum, let's have fun." I say looking at him.

"Did you mean to rhyme like that?" He asks

"No." I giggle. I sit on his waist and pull him up, so I'm sitting on his lap.

"I love you." I say leaning in to kiss him. At the last second he jerks his head away and my head falls forward.

"I hate when you do that." I say groaning. He smiles. He leans in and kisses me this time.

"Hmm." I cross my arms.

"Don't be mad." He whines.

"Whatever teaser."

He puts his hand over his chest like he's attended. I laugh and get up.

"Come down and eat." I say. He nods.

We go down the stairs slowly. I wonder what my mom is going to say today? We reach the kitchen and she turns to us.

"Hey. Hungry?" She smiles a little.

"Yea." I say. Rae is too, he just doesn't want to say anything.

We sit down and my mom puts pancakes, eggs, and bacon on the table. We start eating. I can't help but notice Rae hasn't picked his head up from looking at his food at all. He's barely eating too.

"You alright?" I touch his hand that was out on the table. He looks up at me and nods, looking back down. I take my hand away and we continue eating.

"How is the food?" She asks. I nod, smiling. She looks at Rae but he still has his head down.

"Raegan?" She asks.

"Huh? Oh yea, it's really good." He says.

"I'm glad." She says. She seems okay at the moment. I mean for being around him, she seems fine.

"I need to go work today. I'll be home around 4." She says putting her dish in the sink.

"Ok. Bye mom."

"Bye Mrs. Blake."

"Bye boys." She says grabbing her purse and walking out.

Raegan and I finish eating and put our dishes in the sink also. I take his hand and we go to the sitting room. I sit on the couch and he does the same. He's so quiet. 

"You've been really quite since we got here." I tell him. He shrugs.

"It's just wierd at the moment, I'll get used to it though." He smiles.

"Yea you will. My mom seems to be growing on you a little."

"I hope." He says. I lean over and kiss him gently. He pulls on his lap and kisses me a little harder. I go with it but it doesn't go any further.

"I'm so glad you're here with me. I love you." I tell him.

"I love you more." He smiles. I shake my head. He nods his head.

"Whatever." I say. I think about what my mom told me.

"I need to start school again next week." I say.

"Really?" He pouts.

"Yea. But when I get home we can do whatever." I say. He nods.

"Ok."

I get off of him and lay down, putting my head in his lap. He plays with my hair as I look for a movie. Since its almost Christmas, the Grinch is a recommendation on Netflix. I put it on and watch it. Raegan playing with my hair me want to fall alsleep. I feel a motion from him leaning back a little. Then a feel a blanket on me. He puts it on me and continues to play with my hair.

"Thank you." I scrunch up my legs and get comfortable.

"Sure. Goodnight." He laughs. I giggle and lift my head up. He leans down and kisses me. I blush and turn my head back. He runs his fingers through my soft hair and my eye lids get heavy. They close to the music of the music and the relaxing feeling on my bed.

Ok so...this was shit😂 be honest. Nothing happened. Oh well. This story is going to end soon anyway. But y'all know I already know what my next book is going to be 😁Plz vote ❤
