After three long days there came time to take out the stitches. The eye wasn't so bad either and the swollen got flat. He could finally see her. He promised himself to get some shaving first but he was so anxious to see them. Harry took him to the lift and they both entered the neonatal where he took his daughter out of the crib. She was sleeping, gently moving in her dreams. He nodded the nurse and got up.Ava suddenly moved in his hands and opened her eyes. He carried her straight into her mother's room.
Courtney opened her eyes for a while as she felt a whirl of air.She noticed the man standing over her.
"Baby... It's me".

"Tim...Im fine. I'm fine." She was trying to touch his cheek but he was keeping his head down. She noticed his dirty hair, scruffy look. She realized how bad was all that to him. How difficult it was to go thru all this.
"Tim...I'm all right. Few days and we're coming back home. I promise. Look at me. LOOK AT
ME. Tim."
He put up his head and she kissed him. He was like lifeless, but gave the kiss back, then he looked at the baby
"See Avie? See? I told you. Mummy will come back soon".
The door entered and Harry peeped inside.
"Hey guys. Ready to take your very first family photo?"
