Jordan sat arms crossed across his chest scrutinizing her.Jordyn knew that look. When Jordan's eyes were squinted he was scrutinizing a person Trying to read deep inside their mind, reading the person's thoughts . He'd aced it with her so many times Jordyn knew he knew her better than she knew herself .
At least he used to.
"Baby talk to me "
Jordyn narrowed her eyes "STOP CALLING ME THAT!!"
"I'm sorry . I don't know what to call you. "
"Jordyn is fine "she hissed
"Wow when did you become such a bitch?"
"When you fucking left me alone and pregnant "
"I'm sorry goddamnit I'm so fucking sorry !" Jordan was getting irritated.
Jordyn looked up at him tears shining in her eyes
"I can't do this. Fuck I thought I'd never see you again."
Jordan pushed off from the chair , he was next to her in an instant
"Jordy ...Jordy Jordyn!"
Jordyn snapped out of her thoughts at the sound the of Jordan's voice.
"Where were you just now baby ?"
Jordyn couldn't help it the soothing sound of his voice overtook her.
"Where I probably shouldn't have been. In the past ."
Pulling her into his arms Jordan held her close
"The past ?"
Jordyn huffed out a breath
"Baby talk to me no matter how much time has passed I'll still listen.I'm still here and my heart still knows it belongs to you .It always has."
Jordyn couldn't help herself she could feel her body snuggling closer to him.
The dam she'd been bandaiding and trying to keep at bay for years opened and overflowed at that moment.
"Tell me "
"The first time we made love flashed in my mind. The promises we made , the words we said.It feels like yesterday "
Jordan stroked her hair just as he had hundreds of times when they were younger.
"That's one of the only things that kept me going .Knowing you'd be coming back to me.But then you didn't. Why didn't you come back to me like you promised ?"
Jordan cleared his throat "Stupidity " he admitted
"Pure fucking stupidity"
Jordan went on to explain what brought him to not come back to the only woman he could ever, had ever loved. How pressure from the bands management placed pressure on not only him but the other four men as well to portray themselves as single young men. How having girlfriends would portray them as different in the eyes of their fans. Jordan sounded bitter as he explained how he had seen Emily by chance and how she pushed her way into his life and lonely heart. How he'd hoped she would help him to move on from the one person he never wanted out of his life. How a night of drunken stupidity led to DJ's conception.
He'd heard rumors that Jordyn had given birth to a son but how he'd had no idea that the son was also his. Jordan continued his explanation , explaining how many had told him that she'd moved on ,met someone else, got married and had a son. Jordan had had no idea that the son he was told about was much older than he actually was when Jordyn married .
When Jordan finally finished baring his soul Jordyn saw the man she fell in love with staring back at her.
Jordan stared at her "Baby I can never get back the time we lost. But we can rekindle what we once had. My feelings never changed. I saw you again and it felt like a sign, The dating site accounts were set up for a reason. We were meant to find one another again. I can feel it baby .I know damn well you feel it too. I felt it when I held you in my arms , when we kissed again. The spark , love we had then is still here now . Please let me show you , give you the love you have always deserved . "
Without another word Jordan placed his hand to the back of her head ,guiding it toward him. Pressing his lips to hers Jordan kissed her with all the love he'd always had for her.Pouring in every emotion he felt in all the time they were apart .
"I love you baby .I never stopped loving you, never. I need you I've never stopped needing you.My life has been all fucked up without you."
