Jordyn hadn't heard from him again the rest of the night into the middle of the next. Marcel became impossible after the confrontation with his father. Not long after Jordan staggered out of her driveway ,Jordyn heard the slam of the front door and Marcel's car door , the roar of the engine and the distinctive squeal of tires as Marcel took off out of their driveway.

Jordy had no idea where Jordan lived only that he lived about two blocks away.

Taking a chance she picked up her phone and sent a text to his mother.

After a few minutes of texting back and forth Jordyn slid her sneakers on and walked out her front door to take the short walk over to his house.

When she arrived there she rang the doorbell.

No answer

Shit maybe he was passed out

Jordyn loudly knocked this time "J! JORDAN !!!"

The door pushed open slightly.

Jordan hadn't locked it.

Letting herself in Jordyn called to him as she looked around. Finally finding him in his living room slumped half on and half off the sofa. She couldn't help it when she saw him Jordyn felt a pain pierce her chest . Jordan was passed out on the sofa his face bloody and swollen. It seemed his bleeding had stopped but there was blood down the side of Jordan's swollen face from his eyebrow to his swollen lip and the trail finally seemed to end under his split lip.

Her son ... no their son did this .Jordyn felt nauseous as she knelt down on the floor balancing herself with her good hand on the sofa carefully making sure she didn't disturb his face .

"J?" Jordyn whispered close to his ear

"J answer me" she begged

A grunt followed by a groan was the only response she received.

Watching him closely Jordyn jumped at the hoarse answer she received

"Jordy ? Baby ?"

Jordyn grabbed the unopened bottle of water sitting on the coffee table pouring some into the cap and placing it to his lips

"I'm right here J "she murmured emotionally as she carefully brushed a stray strand of his hair from his forehead.

Once she got him to drink some water Jordyn made her way to the bathroom ,bringing back a warm wash cloth and a small bowl filled with warm water so she could clean his face off.

"This might hurt J but I need to see how bad your face looks . I need to clean you up"Jordyn spoke soothingly as she explained what she intended to do .

Ten minutes ,multiple water changes and moans of pain from Jordan ,she was finished .

Jordan's face swollen in multiple places

Thankfully Jordyn hadn't felt any broken bones

"I'm sorry Jordy "he whispered hoarsely.

"For what?"

"Ruining your life"

"What the fuck Jordan ? You didn't ruin my life. Without you I wouldn't have known what true love was and I wouldn't have a piece of you "

"I should've never left "Jordan murmured turning away from her ,not wanting to make eye contact .

"Jordan look at me " Jordyn commanded

"Why? It's not going to change anything."

"J-"Jordyn trailed off wondering if he was right

"What ?" his voice was sharper than he intended

"You didn't ruin my life .You're back now and we can clear everything up, right all the wrongs made . For both of us because we were both wrong Jordan "

Jordan raised his head slowly ,meeting her eyes

"I told you Jordy I will do whatever it takes to right those wrongs."

By now he'd pushed himself closer to her so that she was within his reach.

"I need you Jordy . I've always needed you ,was just too stupid to see it.Let me try baby please "

His voice cracked and Jordyn instinctively leaned into him.

The closer he had her the more he wanted to be closer to her .

Jordyn stood taking his hand ,leading him to his sofa

"Hold me J please "

Jordan hauled her onto his lap close to his chest

"Where do we go from here ?" Jordan murmured

"I don't know "

Pressing his lips to hers tentatively Jordan let her set the pace.

Jordyn kissed him like she never had before.

The kiss was filled with so many emotions she felt tears burn her eyes .

Kissing her tears away Jordan murmured

"Don't cry baby I'm not going anywhere this time I promise you on my life I won't ever leave you again.
