They settled into the bungalow the boys arranged and began discussing combining households , what would happen with Jordy's house and they decided putting it on the market was the best thing considering Jordan lived literally around the corner.

They ordered some lunch and continued to discuss their family.

"I want Marcel to take my name "

"He has your name "

"Jordyn you said your husband adopted him "

"Not legally he couldn't "

"My names on his birth certificate isn't it "Jordan asked gently

Jordy nodded

"My father wanted me to put unknown and I refused.I wanted him to know who he came from .And then I met David Cooper "

Jordan nodded not needing an explanation of who David was

Jordy sensed his irritation with the whole situation as she placed a hand on Jordan's comforting him

"I never loved him like I love you J .Matter of fact that's why there no children ,we were in the process of divorcing right when he died ."

Jordan sat and intently listened as Jordy explained how she'd found out they'd been set up by her father without her knowing it .A way to keep her away from Jordan. It was like an arranged marriage without her knowledge .

David essentially had been paid off to marry her.

Jordan saw red.

"When did you find out ?"

"We'd been married about two years together for five .Marc was about eleven and I heard David on the phone . It didn't take long for me to put two and two together when I heard them talking. I listened as he disconnected the call and made another this one was to whomever had paid him .He was demanding more money .It seems his guise of loving our son was revealed that day and I heard him telling my father that he couldn't stand the little entitled bastard "

Jordan felt his anger rising

"I filed for separation and asked him to move out.Marc only used Cooper because we knew using Knight would draw attention to him people already said he looked just like you which he does "

"Babygirl why didn't you contact Jon he would have gotten ahold of me "

"Her "

"I told you it was all a ruse "

"I didn't know that then I didn't want to break up what I thought was a happy marriage "

Jordy felt tears escape her eyes as a tear escaped down her cheek

"Baby I am so sorry .I can't change the past but I can give us a better present and future"

The dam broke as Jordy sobbed openly unable to stop her emotions from bubbling over

Jordan pulled her into his arms and held her humming in Jordys ear just as he had when they were kids to calm her when something was wrong /

"The boys had a great idea ."

Jordy looked up at him confusion evident

Not saying another word Jordan called the number on the card the boys included in the envelope and booked the chapel

"Marry me today Jordyn .Be my wife .In my heart you always have been anyway "

Jordy nodded as tears streamed down her cheeks

Jordan's lips crashed into hers as he pulled her into a tight embrace

"I love you baby"
