CAUGHT UP (Games to Play)

"Did you guys get a ticket?" someone says and I turn around to see Sawyer.

"No we didn't" I said.

"Well come on. We got teams ready" Sawyer says and we follow her to the section. The bowling alley was super packed and really loud. "It's me and Cody, against, Naomi and Viola, against you and Dylan" she says.

"What about Cole?" I said as we approach everyone.

"I'm going to watch. I don't mind" Cole says.

"Cole we can find you a hot girl if you want us to?" Naomi says.

"I'm fine" Cole says and we laugh. Dylan goes and gets our shoes and I sit down to change into them. Sawyer and Cody were up first and I look over to see Dylan sitting down next to Cole and they were laughing about something. I realize I should be a little grateful that Dylan is actually here. Dylan O'Brien and bowling? Who would of thought?

The game plays on and Dylan was actually really good at hitting strikes. I sucked so badly and Dylan was behind me to remind me how bad of partner I am.

"Shut up, I'm trying" I said going to sit down and everyone laughs.

"Don't worry Jo, next time" Cole said and I roll my eyes at him.

"You said that last time" I say and he laughs.

"Dylan, your turn" Cody says and I look over at Dylan. He was looking down at his phone then shakes his head.

"Dylan?" I said.

"Yea, okay. I'm going" he says putting his phone away. He picks up the bowling ball and walks over to the lane. He hurries to roll the ball and it only hits three pins.

"I guess he lost the spark" Naomi jokes and I watch him as he picks up another ball and rolls it down the lane. He then turns around and comes to sit next to me.  I watch the ball as it only hits one pin.

"Okay... you're not aloud to tell me how bad I suck anymore" I laugh and look over at Dylan. He already had his shoes off and he was changing back into his regular shoes. "What are you doing?"

"Babe I have an emergency" Dylan says looking up at me. I laugh and shake my head.

"Of course you do Dylan" I say rolling my eyes. He couldn't even last 3 hours without ditching me?

"It'll be fast and I hurry back, I promise" he says standing up.

"Whatever" I said.

"Josephina, I promise you I wouldn't go if it wasn't an emergency"

"Well what's wrong? What's the 911?" I asked and he stares at me.

"Just a friend needs my help"

"Can I come?"

"No. It's personal" he says and I let out a sigh. I mean, he is actually telling me where he's going this time.

"Okay..." I said and he bends down to kiss me.

"I'll be back" he says rushing away. I laugh and watch as Sawyer and Cody take the lanes. Great, now I don't have a partner.

"I'll take his place" Cole said sitting down. He takes off his shoes and starts putting on Dylan's bowling shoes.
