(Prince Jasper's POV)
Napaupo na lang ako sa sofa at napapikit. Siguro nga talagang apektado ako sa nangyari sa amin ni Ethan. Bakit kailangan niya pa muling magpakita at bakit palagi na lang siyang lumalapit sa akin; umaarteng parang wala siyang nagawang kasalanan. Ano pa ba ang kailangan niyang patunayan? Hindi ko na maintindihan kung bakit pagkatapos niya akong saktan ay patuloy pa siya sa pananakit sa akin? I just want him and AJ to stay away from me. Dahil kahit na anong pilit kong maging manhid, nasasaktan pa rin ako sa tuwing nakikita ko silang magkasama. Hindi ba ginawa ko naman lahat ng makakaya ko para maging okay na boyfriend? Ano bang naging kasalanan ko sa kanya? Bakit kailangan kong masaktan?
Minulat ko ang aking mga mata at tumayo. I got up and headed towards the door.
"PeeJay, saan ka pupunta?" ang tanong ni Bryan.
"Magpapahangin lang" ang simple kong tugon bago tuluyang lumabas ng Gold Room.
[Derek's POV]
[EJ's Thoughts: nosebleed >_______<]
I just sat there on the floor in pain. After PeeJay punched my face, I felt nothing. Only after hearing what he has to say, I know I committed a serious crime. I've felt shame. Isabella is everything to me in life. And I'm willing to change everything for her. PeeJay sat on the couch and closed his eyes. It was like decades since I last saw him like that. I never expected to see him like that again and I thought he's been tamed. PeeJay is slowly reverting to his former self again. I really can't blame him. He's been badly hurt. And I know him so well. He'll be hurting anyone and everyone who hurts him. Ethan is certainly not an exception. We remain silent for a moment. I don't even know what to say and I lost my guts to stand up. I feel like a little kid right now.
Suddenly, PeeJay stood up and headed for the doorway. I know he's still upset. I suppose he saw Ethan in me, that's why he reacted that way.
"PeeJay, saan ka pupunta?" asked Bryan.
"Magpapahangin lang" PeeJay replied and then left us. Blood is still oozing out from my lips. I simply wiped it out using the back of my hand.
"I believe he's really back" I supposed. I stood up and also reached for the door.
"Hey, where are you going?" Bryan asked me.
"Somewhere... to breathe some fresh air" I responded quickly. I got out of the room, leaving Bryan inside. I traversed going down reaching the dance floor. Most of the people there greeted me with enthusiasm, acting like tamed sheep. But I know they are wolves ready to attack me at my back. That's why I don't trust anyone. I searched for PeeJay outside the superclub and found him at the parking lot; he's standing near his car and I know he's thinking about something deep.
"Hey" I greeted him.
"Jeez, can I have at least ten minutes of peace?" I heard him whisper loudly before turning around to face me. He just looked at me coldly. "What? You want more?"
"I-i uh.." i stammered. PeeJay's scaring me right now. "I'm sorry. Let's just let the cat out of the bag when you're okay"
And then I began to walk away, but he hollered for my name. I stopped and looked at him again.
"I'm sorry" we both told each other at the same time.
"I deserve it, " I said in a serious manner. "After all you have said, I realized that I'm such a jerk"
