Chapter Nineteen: A God's Rampage

"Let's dance, Yatsuhusa.", the voice says as Minazuki points toward Kurome and a giant dragon head that looks exactly like Quake's forms out of the ground. Its mouth opens and a ball of energy begins to form. Kurome quickly turns to Destaghoul and shouts, "Destaghoul, take him out, now!" Minazuki glances over at Destaghoul and sees its also charging a beam attack. "What a hindrance. I'll eliminate you first then, Destaghoul!", the voice shouts as Minazuki points his fist at Destaghoul, causing the dragon head to also aim at it. As Minazuki opens his hand, the voice says, "Fire.", and the dragon head shoots a light green beam that clashes with Destaghoul's bright blue beam. "W-what the hell was that!?", Minazuki shouts as she continues to fight against Doya with Sheele's help. Sheele looks over to see that the source of the green beam seems to be Minazuki and she shouts, "I think that green beam is Minazuki's! Is this his Trump Card!?" "Don't know, let's ask him when we're done here!", Mine shouts as she manages to finally put a few rounds in Doya, knocking her off the cliff in the process. Bols watches on in amazement as the two beams clash and send shockwaves across the canyon floor. "Pathetic, PATHETIC! UNLEASH YOUR FULL POWER, DESTAGHOUL!!!", the voice shouts as the green beam starts to push the blue one back at a rapid rate. The green beam suddenly gets larger before completely overwhelming Destaghoul, destroying its entire body in one blast and everything else in its way. "Minazuki eliminated Destaghoul in just one shot.", Najenda says in amazement. "That isn't Minazuki.", Susanoo says with a cold glare at Minazuki. "Hm? What do you mean, Susanoo?", Najenda asks. "Look at his eyes and the overwhelming power surging through his body. It's clearly the work of the danger beast inside his Imperial Arm.", Susanoo explains as he points to Minazuki's eyes and the visible aura pouring from his body. Najenda's eyes widen as she recalls the Meno incident from long ago, before saying, "Do you believe he'll be alright? Should we stop him?" "At this point, I don't believe that's an option we have. Not even my Trump Card would stand against Quake's full power in this state.", Susanoo says coldly as he watches Minazuki aim the dragon head back up at Kurome. "Now, mortal, unleash Yatsuhusa full power for me! I want to have some fun while I'm here!", the voice says before opening fire on Kurome. Natala quickly pulls Kurome out of the way of his blast as it cuts through the cliff side. He makes the head follow their movements, but Natala is just fast enough to barely avoid the attack. "Well, it seems for now, he's still on our side.", Najenda says with a worried look on her face. "Is this what we need to defeat Esdeath? The power of a rampaging God?", Najenda thinks before watching Hentarr rush toward Minazuki, looking to take advantage of his opening. Minazuki glances over at him and says, "Pesky insect, return to the Earth!" Without even moving, multiple spears jet out of the ground, trying to stab Hentarr, but he masterfully dodges them all. But then the spears connect, forming a dome, before quickly sinking into the ground, crushing every bone in Hentarr's body and damaging all of his organs. "Hentarr!!", Kurome shouts. "Damn it, I can't summon my last puppet while I'm running like this! I need more space!", she thinks as Natala carries her while escaping Minazuki's death beam. The beam finally stops and the voice says, "How irritating. You just keep running, this isn't even a fight at all." Minazuki turns to see Akame and Leone fighting Bols before the voice says, "I guess I'll deal with Rubicante first." Minazuki rushes in to attack, but Woll blocks his path. "More insects. Just return to the ash, insect.", the voice says before hitting Woll's shield as hard as he can, shattering it. He grabs Wolls by the face and slams him face first into the ground with all his might, causing the very ground to shatter under him. "Wolls too? What even is this guy!?", Kurome thinks in a panic. "Three enemies at once, and with that one in the state he is now, I stand nearly no chance in this fight...", Bols thinks as he pulls a detonator out of his pocket. "Trump Card, activate!!!", Bols shouts, causing Leone and Akame to be on edge, but Minazuki just rushes in to attack anyways. "What!? He's not affraid of my bluff!?!", Bols thinks before the voice says, "Foolish mortal, I already know all of your tricks! Magma Drive was your Trump Card!" Minazuki punches Bols, who blocks with both arms, but still gets sent flying by the attack. He's sent flying into the woods as his Imperial Arm, Rubicante, is left behind. As Bols is sent flying like a frisbee, Kurome shouts, "Bols!!!" She turns to Natala and says, "We need to retreat, now!" He nods and carries her away as fast as he can. Minazuki looks down at the detonator Bols was holding before crushing it with his foot. "Mortals, they think they can do whatever they want with us. Even blow us up if they feel the need. I'll be sure to kill that one slowly for his insolence.", the voice says in an irritated tone. "Hey, partner, what are you doing? You could've just crushed that guy, you know?", Leone says with a confused look. He glares over at her and Akame points Murasame at him, prepared to fight, but they seem too tired to do so. "You two should retrieve the Imperial Arms and head back. You've taken too much damage to be of any use in this fight. I'll head after the targets and make sure they're properly disposed of.", the voice says in a cruel tone.
