As the snow continues to fall around them, Mine feels as if time is starting to slow down, her heart is pound so hard she can feel it throughout every part of her body and she's finding hard to even breath, let alone try to make out the words she wants to say. "...ugh...", she begins to say as she begins to tremble. "W-what's the matter!?", Tatsumi asks in a panic. "I'm making such a stupid face...!", she thinks as she only manages to say, "I... I think..." She then takes a deep breath before shouting, "I think I like you!" Tatsumi just smiles and says, "I like you too, Mine." Her face lights up and she quickly asks, "Really!?" He gives her a thumb up and says, "Of course! Everyone in Night Raid is important to me, including you!!" She starts to grind her teeth as she hears him say that before thinking, "That...that's not what I meant, you idiot!!! You oblivious bastard, I'm pouring my heart out in this confession!! I can't believe this...!" He starts walking away saying, "I guess even someone as proud and narrow-minded as you has finally grown to appreciate my worth. Let's hurry back before everyone thinks we got lost or something." "I won't let you get away!! If I do, then Chelsea will just swoop in and take you for herself!! I need to act now, this is my last chance!!!", she thinks before throwing herself in front of him and shouting, "Stop right there!!!" He jumps back at her shouting and drops the bear's corpse in the process. "You don't get it, do you? Idiot! Mine takes another deep breath before letting out a long sigh and saying, "...Okay..", and clenching her fist. "Hey, what are you gettin so worked up abo-", he begins to say before Mine grabs his face and pulls him into a kiss. The kiss only lasts for a couple seconds, but it's enough to get her point across. As their lips leave each other, she asks, "Do you get it now, idiot? That kind of 'like.'" "I-Is this some sort of trick or something? Are you gonna say, 'Hah, got ya rookie!' or something like that?", he asks nervously as his face turns a bit red. "Just believe me already! I just gave you my first kiss, damn it!", she shouts before burying her face in his chest. "But...Mine..You always made fun of me, and never took me seriously, remember?", he replies as she tries to hide her face in his jacket. "Yeah...At first, all I thought was, 'Just try to keep up, Newbie.' and things like that... But...", she begins to say before he chuckles at that last part and says, "That still hurts, you know." "But you... you saved my life...", she finishes causing him to tense up. "Saved you life? What kind of comrade wouldn't try to do that!?!", he asks in a panic. "Yeah, that's why.. I think.. I might have started having feelings for you before that. I guess...it might've been around when we lost Bulat and you inherited his will and Incursio. I started thinking of you as more of a man than a Newbie...", she replies as she reluctantly lets go of his jacket. "Mine...", he says with a slightly concerned look. "So, I'll let you go out with me! You should be grateful!", she says as she holds her hand out, waiting for him to take her offer. "What!? What about my feelings!?!", he asks in a panic. "..Do you not want to?", she asks in a slightly saddened tone. He begins to panic even more while shouting, "Uh, no, that's not what I meant, but.... It was so sudden, and I was taken off guard, and... and..and..!", which causes her to sigh before saying, "Jeez, you're hopeless. You're supposed to say something macho like, 'I thought you'd never ask' or something like that. You should be firm and decisive." She crosses her arms and confidently says, "Alright, for now, just go out with me. You'll be falling head-over-heels for me in no time!" He just starts laughing at her before she shouts, "What!? What's so funny about this!?!" He just keeps laughing before saying, "I just thought that even when you're confessing your love, you're still so...You!" He his nose up to her and says, "Are you sure you're interested in 'this thing?' Wouldn't that mean you'd have pretty bad taste?" Her face turns an even darker red from his mocking before saying, "Sh-Shut up!" He takes her hand, which catches her off guard at first, before saying, "Alright, if you're okay with someone like me. I guess I could give us a shot."
