Chapter Thirty Seven: Shatter the Jasper

Up in the sky of the Empire, there's a large Wyvern heading toward the Capital. Riding that Wyvern are Najenda, Susanoo, Akame, Leone, and Sheele. "Can this thing go any faster!? We need to hurry and get them out of there!!", Leone shouts. "This is as fast as it can go without being detected by the Palace's sensor Imperial Arms.", Susanoo responds. "We just have to to hope that they can hold out until we get there. They might have two Gods on their side, but Hitzugaea has already become a God himself and according to Minazuki, Esdeath could ascend at any moment.", Akame says as she focuses on the area in front of them. "All we can really do now is wait, right?", Sheele says in a slightly saddened tone. "Yes, but we'll get them out of there. There's no doubt about it. I won't lose anyone else to this Empire! Let's bring them back alive!!", Najenda says, inspiring her subordinates. "Just hold out a little longer guys, we're comin...", Leone thinks to herself as she looks down at the Capital.

Back just outside the remains of the coliseum, Jasper is ready to fight. He rushes toward Budo to strike him down, but Minazuki steps in his path and tries to hit him. Minazuki hits Jasper right in the chest with all his might, but Jasper doesn't go anywhere. Jasper's arm suddenly turns into a large blade with a glowing red light coming from it before he uses it to slash at Minazuki. Minazuki blocks the attack with his forearm before forcing the blade back and jumping back to make some space. "W-what the hell is that!? Is that another Imperial Arm!?!", Tatsumi asks in a panic as he jumps back to Minazuki's side and Budo does the same. "No, that's just Jasper's body. He was one of Dr.Stylish's test subjects.", Esdeath says from Budo's shoulder. "Dr.Stylish..?", Tatsumi says as he remembers all the messed up test subjects he sent to fight them when he found their base. "After observing the Rakasha Demons and their unique bodies, the Doctor wanted to make an even better warrior. This combined with Prime Minister Honest's order to create the ultimate soldier to fight against even the likes of the Three Elemental Generals all at once, lead to my creation! I am the ultimate weapon!!", Jasper shouts as he rushes in again for another attack. With his whole right arm turned into a large blade, he turns his left hand's fingers into giant razor sharp claws that he quickly slashes at Minazuki with. Minazuki manages to dodge his rapid slices and slashes, but the ground under him is left scarred by the attacks. "He's fast, faster than any normal mortal.", Budo thinks as he watches the attacks. "Don't get too distracted, General!", Jasper shouts as he points his left claw hand at him and it suddenly jets out at him. Budo manages to dodge the attack, even with Esdeath on his shoulder, but only by a hair's length. Tatsumi puts down Mine and rushes in to fight, but Jasper sees him coming and slashes down at him with his sword arm. "Yes! Come at me, all at once!! Let's have some fun before I kill all of you!!", Jasper says in a crazed psychotic tone as he slashes at Tatsumi wildly. Tatsumi barely manages to block his rapid strikes before Minazuki rushes in and punches Jasper straight in the face. The punch seems to do nothing again and Jasper just smiles before saying, "Something like that won't work on me!!!" Minazuki just gives him a stern look before saying, "I was just testing a theory." Suddenly, a small stone wall forces Jasper back a few feet before he slices through it. Jasper seems enraged by Minazuki forcing him back before shouting, "How dare you try to ruin my fun!?" "Your body, it seems to be able to absorb kinetic energy. That's how you were able to ignore the full force of my attack.", Minazuki notes as he just glares at Jasper. Jasper just laughs maniacally before shouting, "Oh, but that's not it! I have so much more up my sleeves!! Would ya like to see!?!" He suddenly disappears without a trace, turning his whole body invisible, even his clothes. Minazuki manages to sense him coming straight for him with his sixth sense and blocks his incoming downward slash with his forearms. "Ah, so you can still see me somehow. Then I'll have to fight you from another angle!", Jasper says before leaping into the air, causing Minazuki to loose sight of him. "He jumped into the air, but he hasn't come down. Is he airborne? Then I'll just have to adapt to this as he adapts to me.", Minazuki thinks before throwing dust and dirt into the air, blinding everyone except for Budo, Jasper and himself. He sees something standing out in the dust and when he looks at it closer, it looks like a human with wings sprouting from their back. "There he is!", Minazuki thinks as he launches earth spears out from the ground, trying to shoot him down. Jasper manages to slice his way through the spears before shouting, "You're quick on your feet, Dirt Boy! But how will ya handle this!?" The scales from Jasper's wings suddenly launch at them like bullets, but Minazuki stops them by making a stone wall to block the attack. "This one seems rather bothersome. Would you like my assistance?", Budo says as he looks to Minazuki. "Everything that we throw at him, he just seems to counter. I doubt just changing who attacks will be of much use here. We have to find some way to finish him off quickly.", Minazuki thinks before turning to Budo and saying, "No, protect General Esdeath for now. I'll think of something." Budo simply nods as he leaps back to make more room for Minazuki and Jasper to do battle and Tatsumi does the same with Mine in his arms. "Aw, you're just gonna fight me by yourself little guy? Let's see how long ya last!!", Jasper shouts before uncloaking and divebombing Minazuki with his blade arm and claws ready to cut him down. They move past each other at a lightning quick speed. Jasper's blade arm suddenly falls off and his eyes widen. Minazuki flicks his wrist to clean the blood from his claws while saying, "If I can't use blunt force, I'll slice through you. It's as simple as that." Jasper just starts to laugh uncontrollably before shouting, "Like that'd work! Do ya honestly believe the Doctor didn't take that into consideration too!?!" Minazuki turns to see Jasper's regenerate his entire arm out of nothing and reform it into the same blade he had right before saying, "I'm the ultimate weapon for a reason!" "It might take a good bit of energy to do it, but I can recover from wounds like this like they're nothing! These guys don't stand a chance against me, even if they consider themselves Gods!!", Jasper thinks as a twisted smile comes to his face. They suddenly hear Hitzugaea shout, "QUAKE!!!!", in an enraged tone. They look up to see that Hitzugaea is floating, looking down at Quake with a pissed off glare. "Great, now I have two of you to deal with...", Minazuki mutters to himself before turning to Budo and shouting, "You three, fall back! I'll handle these two!! Make sure they get to safety, Budo!!" Budo simply nods, but Tatsumi shouts, "We're not leaving you behind!!" Budo grabs Tatsumi and Mine their waists and carry them with him as he retreats as Minazuki asked. Hitzugaea starts charging up a giant fire ball the size of a small moon and Minazuki shouts, "Go!! I'll handle this!!!" He suddenly sends a large stone dragon claw, balled up in a fist, up at Hitzugaea and punches him before he can finish charging, disrupting the fireball and causing the energy to disperse. Hitzugaea quickly recovers from the sudden attack before divebombing at Minazuki with Tenmei in his hand.
