Chapter Thirty: Vengeance

It's late at night and Run has just arrived at the Wild Hunt Headquarters. As he walks inside, he greets everyone, saying, "Good evening everyone, I'm here." Cosmina notices him instantly and says, "Oh! Run! You came again! What fun!!" She walks up to him and presses her chest against his arm while looking up into his eyes with a seductive look in her eyes. "You'll play with Cosmina, right Run~", she says with a slightly pink face. He just smile to her and says, "If you're going to let me join Wild Hunt, of course." Enshin rolls his eyes and grumbles, "He's so desperate." Run looks around the room to see only Cosmina, Enshin and Champ are there at the moment. "Where are the others? Have they gone out without you?", Run asks as he glances around to be sure he didn't miss anyone. "They're with Syura, he got beat up by some hick apparently. Isn't that funny!?", Cosmina says with a laugh. "So not only is their leader missing, but half of his subordinates aren't here as well... This is turning out better than I originally anticipated!", Run thinks to himself before looking over to Champ. He starts walking over to the clown before saying, "Mr.Champ, I think I have something you might be, interested in..." "Huh? What's that?", Champ asks with an irritated and skeptical look on his face. Run whispers something in Champ's ear, so quiet that neither of the others could hear and after hearing what he said, his expression completely changes. "Seriously!?!", Champ asks with a look of complete disbelief. Run nods and says, "Yes." "Then lead the way! Hurry up!!", Champ shouts as he jumps to his feet with excitement. 

Run walks outside and starts leading him down the road, far away from Wild Hunt's Headquarters. After only ten minutes of walking, Champ is already out of breath and asks, "Are we there yet!? Where's this shack fulla super-cute kids you were talkin about!?!" "We're almost there, Mr.Champ. Just a little further now, trust me.", Run says in a kind tone as he continues to lead the killer clown away from his teammates. Champ smiles and says, "You really know how to get on people's good sides. Not only did you bring bribes, but you even brought me some game!" Run just turns to the clown and smiles before saying, "Of course, it's a chance for promotion after all." "Man, I can't wait! I wonder what kinds of kids they are! I don't mind, as long as they're young and cute! I'm really going to love them!!!", Champ says in a sadistic serial killer tone. "And after you... love them, why do you kill them all?", Run asks in a more serious tone. "Do you even have to ask? It's obvious, isn't it? It's so the little angels don't have to grow up to be filthy adults! Adults are worthless pieces of shit! They're all just scum! Angels should stay angels forever, you know?", Champ explains with a smile on his face as he thinks of all the children he's killed throughout his life. "I see....Right this way then, Mr.Champ.", Run says as he walks into some ruins. As Champs looks around for the shack he shouts, "What the hell is this!? There isn't a shack here!! These are just some dumbass ruins!! There's not even a single kid in here!!!" "Mr.Champ, do you remember what you bragged about that time you got drunk? That massacre in the town of Joyou, where you killed a whole group of children?", Run asks in a cold unfeeling tone. "Oh yeaaaah, there were so many cute ones there. Just thinkin about it makes me so happy~", Champ says with a slight blush as he recalls the cute faces he saw back then. He suddenly snaps back to reality and shouts, "Hey! That doesn't have anythin to do with this!!!" Run equips Mastema and says, "Oh, but it does, Mr.Champ... Because.. I was their TEACHER!!!", shouting the last part as he uses Mastema to jet himself up into the air. Champ isn't sure what exactly is going on, until he turns to see Natala, who launches the head of his spear at him. He manages to dodge the blade and manages to glance up just in time to see Doya, ready to shoot him down as he's trying to avoid Natala's blade. He pulls out some beads from his pocket and uses them to form a barrier to block her shots, saving his live as he shouts, "Who the hell are these guys!?!" Run quickly shoots a wave of feather blades at Champ, catching him off guard. "Shit! I don't have time to-", Champ begins to think before he's stabbed in every part of his body by Run's feathers. Run lands as Champ's bleeding body slams to the ground with a thud. "I only had a few eye-witnesses, so it took some time to track you down, but I finally found you, Mr.Champ.", Run says as he starts to walk over to the clown's bloody mess of a body. He pulls out a flower and says, "This is probably nothing compared to what you put those children through, but...it's a start.", Run says before placing the flower over one of Champ's many wounds. Champ screams out in pain, as it feels as if his body is burning up from the inside out. "Once applied to a wound, its internal compounds trigger immense pain in the subject. It seems General Esdeath was more than correct about this flower. How appropriate for a precursor to your execution.", Run says in a slightly twisted tone as he pulls out a long knife to cut into Champ with. "St-Stop!! Everyone will know that you're the one who killed me!! Are you okay with that, huh, are ya!?!", Champ shouts, as if that were his ultimate moral trump card. Run just smiles down at him and without any hesitation, stabs Champ right in his stomach, causing him to scream out in pain. "No need to worry, Mr.Champ. I'll just pin this all on Night Raid. It took a lot of time to gain all of your trust.", Run says with a smile still on his face as blood starts to squirt everywhere from the stab wound he just gave Champ. "You killed....countless people while I was trying to infiltrate your group...", Run continues as he wiggles the blade back and forth, causing even more internal damage and making Champ scream even louder. He quickly rips the blade from Champ's body, leaving a giant hole where it once was, before saying, "But I will not allow this to pass any longer! I will erase you all from the shadows, one by one!"
