At the hotel there was a larger apartment-like room with a living room area and a few rooms branching off of it. That was where some of cast were staying. Harry Styles and Fionn Whitehead shared a twin bed room. Barry Keoghan and Tom Glynn-Carney shared a twin bed room. Aneurin Barnard and Jack Lowden shared a twin bed room. Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy shared a room too. The group had only known each other for a few hours when they retreated to their hotel room to further get to know each other.
They were laughing and joking, already becoming great friends. They had discussed the script and just talked absolute rubbish before deciding to head down to the dinner hall. The dinner hall was free but if they wanted to go out of the hotel for food but as they were tired they chose to stay in the hotel.
The journey down the floors was far from normal. A few of them raced to see if the lift was faster than the stairs to not whilst Barry ended up on Tom (G-C's) back. In the end they were sat down eating and talking at a large table.
They spotted Christopher who waved at them before getting his own food and sitting down with Dotty who joined him. "I swear that girl was the girl who was stood by the pier earlier, she also walked along the sea front." Cillian stated.
"Yeah, I think I heard Chris saying that she would have fun working on the set, so she must just be a crew member." Replied Tom (H). "Why she is sat with Chris, who knows, the rest of the crew are not staying here apparently, there is another hotel for them because there were only limited rooms in this one."
"Who knows, eh?" Jack laughed.

A few days later after some rehearsals and table reads they were to film the first scene of the movie today and around her waist, Dotty had a belt with make up supplies, needles and thread, and a few bin bags for any rubbish. She was told to stay with her father unless he said otherwise so that she could be on hand right away. The other make up artists and costume department had large tents set up for them to do the bulk of the work and the cast to change into their costumes. Dotty stood by her fathers chair whilst he instructed the actor, whose name she didn't know, as to what to do. Whilst waiting she glanced down at her phone and saw a text from Fionn.
Fionn:
There are too many early starts with this job and it's the first proper day. 🙃Dotty:
I suppose you'll just have to get used to it. I have early starts too. 😉She didn't expect him to reply straight away as he was at work so she simply placed her phone in her back pocket before turning her attention to her father who was approaching her. She smiled at him before returning her gaze to the actor who looked quite nervous. She couldn't blame him, it was his first film after all. "Action!"
Six guys check the rubbish bins and look in windows along a street, one of the crouching to check a coiled up garden hose before checking the tap, getting nothing from it. Another one of the men grab a piece of paper that is falling from the air which shows their position. Another, opens a window and looks in being filmed from that angle. Whilst the actor that played the main stood beside a house collecting up propaganda papers that fell from the air, clumping them together.
Dotty watched in bewilderment. Despite her father being a director she hadn't actually watched a film being made before and for her it was amazing to watch.
The guy by the house then undid his belt, pulling his trousers down, keeping his underwear on as the camera couldn't see that and crouched a little so it looked as if he was trying to do his business. A few seconds later, the guy by the window being filmed once more, a gunshot was heard and the actor playing Tommy (guy trying to crap) hastily pulled his trousers up and tightening his belt. He then began running down the street the others following, along with cameras, Christopher and Dotty.
Just as 'Tommy' reached a gate, all of the five other actors were shot down and he climbed over the gate, staying in position on the top. "Cut!" Christopher stated and 'Tommy' stayed on the gate. Opening one part of the gate that he wasn't on the cameras, Dotty and Christopher joined them, some camera going further away and around the corner. Dotty heard one of the camera men telling them that 'Tommy' would be coming around soon so get ready. "Action!" Said Christopher and 'Tommy' jumped down continuing with his scene.
The gunshots made Dotty jump, her father chuckling slightly but after a few tales of the first part she was used to them.
"English! I'm English! Anglais!" Cried 'Tommy'. Christopher was right, he was a great actor. He portrayed distress and other emotions so well that Dotty was surprised that he hadn't been in a film before.
They cut just as he stopped to look over the beach tat was filled with thousands of extras lifted up in fighting gear. Christopher approached the guy, beckoning his daughter to follow. "Fionn, this is Dorothy. She just needs to apply so extra water to your face to make it look like you are sweating more. Us stopping means you look less sweatier than you would if you did that in full." Christopher said to the actor, before turning to his daughter, "This is Fionn, can you do that for me?" Dotty nodded as her father walked away.
"I never thought I would be told that I wasn't sweaty enough." Fionn chuckled as the girl pulled out a small spray bottle of water from her belt.
Dotty smiled, "Well now you have. You can tick that from your bucket list, not being sweaty enough." Fionn shook his head at the girl causing her to step back raising her hands. "You may not look sweaty but you bloody hair is."
Fionn's ears shone red and he looked at her apologetically. "Sorry."
She laughed, "it's cool, now close your eyes so I can sort this out." Fionn did what she asked and flinched as he felt the water spray on is face. She then sprayed his neck causing him to squirm as it tickled. "Done now you can shake your head a bit and it will look more realistic."
She patted his shoulder as he thanked her before shaking his head once she was further away from him. Her father raised his thumbs at her before instructing Fionn as to what to do. He called action and the scene began.
Once finished all of the takes Fionn and Aneurin who was behind the dune on the beach headed off to a tent where the rest of the cast were chilling and learning some lines. "Well don't you look sweaty!" Harry commented straight at Fionn.
"Most of its fake, I got sprayed with water halfway through. I found out that girls name, you know the one who eats with Chris each day?"
Fionn slumped in a chair, Aneruin beside him, "Well go on then, what's she called?" Asked Aneruin, "I didn't get the pleasure of meeting her."
"Dorothy."
"What as in the Wizard of Oz?"
"Yes, Jack, as in Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. She seems nice too, funny as well."
The guys nodded and Harry passed him his phone, "You got a text. Some one named Dotty."Fionn nodded and looked at it.
Dotty:
I suppose you'll just have to get used to it. I have early starts too. 😉Fionn:
I will have to won't I? I won't like it though. 🤣
