Doctors came and went. Clipboards were scribbled on and swapped. Whispers were shared but never with the loved ones. The blinds were drawn shut hiding Dotty away from everyone. Nobody seemed to speak as they waited for any small amount of news. Shona tried her best but couldn't get her heart starting again. And before the paramedics could even try they ushered her off into the ambulance and then started.

"Dorothy Nolan?"

Emma nodded her head, taking Fionn's hand, Chris was stuck in traffic but was trying his best to get to the hospital. "Dorothy is currently on life support."

"Life support?" Muttered Emma, her hand squeezing Fionn's. Fionn looked to the side where Tom, Harry and Jack sat staring at the doctor.

The doctor nodded, "we need to operate on Dotty as soon as possible. If not the life support will not last for much longer. We just need a few forms signed in order for us to go ahead and do so."

"Is it risky?" Asked Jack.

"Quite. But I'm afraid that if you want any chance of Dorothy continuing her life it is the only way."

"How risky?" Harry Asked, glancing at Emma who was reading trough the forms, Fionn looking down at his feet.

"Unfortunately there is only a 27 percent chance of survival but the 27 is more than she would have if she doesn't have the operation."

The group sighed, even though the boys had no control over what happened and Emma's decision they still felt awful. It was like asking them to let her die or let her live for a little longer and die later. Emma rubbed her forehead in debate, she'd have to make this decision without her husband because the time was ticking by and the longer she waited the worse Dotty got.

Shaking her head she scribbled her signature in very spot needed and nodded her head. "Do it. I want any chance of my baby living." She said as the tears dripped down her cheeks.

"We'll work out damned hardest, ma'am," the doctor nodded and hurried back into the room. A few minutes later some porters arrived and entered too, soon returning with Dotty in the bed, wheeling her out. Emma stood up she  took hold of one of Dotty's hands.

"I love you my darling, so does dad, he's on his way sweetheart." She said kissing her hand, "I do love you. I always have and will."

Her hand slipped from Dotty's further down the corridor as Emma couldn't proceed any further. Her knees buckled and she fell to the ground in tears, hands shaking and heart hurting in fear for her daughters life. Tom rushes to her side and held her in a hug just as Chris entered the corridor.

"Em?" He Asked, "what's happened?"

"I had to, Chris, I had to do it," she sobbed.

Chris, fearing the worst, covered his mouth and his eyes welled with tears. Tom explained everything and instantly the elder man scooped his wife up into his arms and held her tightly. They couldn't lose their baby. Not before they would leave this earth.

Tom and Dotty were evil and left Harry to deal with his fans who wanted an autograph, a selfie and other things, exiting the shop and finding the others, giggling to themselves. "Where's Harry?"

"We left him with some fans." Tom laughed and they turned around to point out where he was to find a larger crowd around him, all shouting and screaming.

"Good luck, Fionn, that's what will happen to you. You won't be able to walk down the street soon." Jack patted him on the shoulder.

"Of course I won't." Fionn replied sarcastically, "Harry is an international star, practically everyone knows who he is, I doubt that'll happen to me."

Dotty grinned and moved out of the way to stand beside him as a few girls ran up to Cillian asking for an autograph and picture, Tom (H) getting the same as well, along with Jack. "Take notes Fionn, whether you like it or not, you will have fans, but I'll be number one, remember that." Dotty joked. "Don't forget me when you are famous."

"Never." Fionn smiles wrapping her into a hug.

"I like astronomy." She mused, "And astrology too."

"What's the difference?"

"Astronomy is like stars, constellations and space matter whereas astrology, is like horoscopes and things."

Fionn nodded, "ah, okay. That makes sense now. Are all of the stars named?"

"Yes. No matter what, even if they do not have an official name, all stars are named because people can pay to name a star usually after a loved one who has passed, even if they are already named and other things." Dotty explained.

"But how do people know which one is that star then?"

"Because you generally get told that it's by a certain constellation or on a specific night it will be in a certain position. But sometimes people choose, like for example say you had a passed loved one, and they liked, I dunno the Little Dipper constellation, then you could pay for one of the stars on that constellation to be named after them."

Fionn nodded in understanding, "Do we have to pay or can we just make one right now and only us will know about it?"

"I suppose so. Why?"

"Because I want to name that star, Dotty." Fionn said pointing at the star that was actually named Mintaka. It was the star on the right of Orion's Belt. "Because it's surrounded by so many stars, and I will be able to find it whenever I look up."

Dotty felt the blood rushing to her cheeks as she pointed to Alnilam which is the star on the left of it and in the centre of Orion's belt. "Then that star I will name Fionn then. So that we're next to each other and I can always see it from my bedroom window."

Fionn smiled at Dotty and pulled her chair closed to his. His fingers intertwined with hers and he pressed a kiss to her knuckles. "What was that for?" Dotty asked him.

Fionn took a deep breath and looked up at the stars, "because you're beautiful, amazing and, and...I..I..I like..you...a lot."

Fionn tugged his hair. He couldn't lose Dotty. Not with all of the memories he shared with her swirling around his head. He wanted to make more. He needed to make more. There was no one else for him. It was her. It was always going to be her. His Dotty.
