The lads decided to spend the day together in London, they had invited Dotty but she said she was busy. For the most part of the day they did not have a clue as to what they were going to do, instead, they just walked around, went into a few shops and had some lunch. The resulted in going to a park with some fish and chips and lounging around. Some teenagers, around the age of nineteen, ran into the field not long after they had sat down, laughing and joking around. One of the guys had a Bluetooth speaker and connected it to his phone which started to blast some hits from that year.
"This is one of Dotty's favourites!" Exclaimed one of the girls, her long brunette hair whipping around and she spun around a boy holding her hand.
"Wow! You actually took notice of someone else than yourself!" Laughed another guy.
"Oh shut it, Marco!" The girl rolled her eyes as they started dancing.
'Marco' turned around to the girl and said, "Where is Dotty anyway?" The girl shrugged and nothing more was said on the matter.
From where they were sat Jack chuckled as he picked up a chip, "Imagine if it was our Dotty."
"That would be a coincidence." Added Tom, he looked around the field and caught sight of a blonde girl with space buns, glasses, a bright yellow top and some dungarees on. "Which just happened, there she is!" He pointed to Dotty who ran over to the group.
"Where have you been?!" The brunette girl cried towards Dotty who stopped to catch her breath.
"My dad needed me to do something for him, Anna." She replied. The group were quite close to Dotty and the other teenagers but not close enough that they could see the lads.
Fionn choked on the drink he was sipping and coughed violently. "That's... Anna...?!" He exclaimed in confusion. Was it bad she looked like a bitch to Fionn?
The lads didn't bother to question him, instead, they watched what Dotty and her friends did as their sort of entertainment. The girls kept picking holes in Dotty about what she was wearing which annoyed Fionn massively, but what confused him was how Dotty simply laughed it off.
Cillian furrowed his eyebrows and placed his food down in his lap. "Is this what the youth of today do? Take the mick out of each other? Does that make me sound old? They're being horrible but Dotty is just going along with it! If I was her I would have slapped them."
Harry shrugged his shoulders. He sipped a bit of Fionn's drink and handed it back to him. "Clearly. Those guys are adding to it. Dotty is basically a personal target from them. Besides, I thought she wasn't talking to that Anna girl?" He turned to Fionn for an answer.
"Honestly, I don't know. I know she said she was giving her a second chance but like, I dunno. This may sound mean but I don't think she has any other friends but us and them. I know she likes being along but I think she also wants to have those friends that she can tell others about to make her sound as if she does other things."
"That doesn't sound mean, Fionn, I get what you are saying. It may be subconscious, people always say things like, 'the other day my mate...' and stuff like that. But like you said, we don't know. Dotty's a strange one, I wouldn't change her for the world, but she is a strange one." Said Barry looking over at Dotty who had now let her hair down and bought a jumper from her bag and put it on. It was a large jumper that went down to her knees covering all of her thighs.
The music had been shut off and they had sat down. Dotty had sat against the tree with her knees to her chest, her jumper now able to cover all of her legs and she had her hood up. The rest of the group were sat a little ways away, laughing and joking throwing glances at Dotty every so often.
