When Dotty left the literary agency she was beaming. Her smile was so bright nobody didn't smile back at her on the way back to her car. She didn't go home right away, instead she drove to Fionn's house. His car was there but she could only assume he hadn't been home long. She parked hers next to his and dashed up to the door and hammered on it.

"Alright, I'm coming! I'm coming!" She heard Fionn shout annoyed at the loud banging on the door but she couldn't contain her excitement to stop. "Who the bloody hell do you think you are- Dot?"

She leapt into his arms squealing, "guess what!"

Fionn stumbled back at her sudden embrace but he put his arms around her waist anyway. "What, love?"

"I HAVE AN AGENT!"

Fionn smiled brightly and squeezed her tightly, "I told you that you could do it! Oh, I'm so fucking proud of you baby." He lifted her up and moved the both of them into the house and shut the door behind him as he brought her into a kiss.

Against his lips, Dotty laughed, throwing her head back which brought a wide smile onto Fionn's face. "I can't, I really can't believe it, Fionn! I feel as high as a kite, like oh my God! I don't think you understand, after everything, I'm now going to be officially a writer-"

"You've got everything you deserve, Dot, and when you get your book published I will be right with you cheering you on because I'm so unbelievably proud of you. Who knew a wrong text and a movie deal would lead us to here?"

Dotty and Fionn moved to sit on the sofa in the living room, the pairs legs becoming intertwined as Dotty lead against his chest. "Would you change anything?"

"Hmm, I would change how long it took us to realise who were were texting, but then again looking back on it, it made it more fun. Plus we get a kick out of how much it frustrated Harry knowing and is being a bit nice but dim," snickered Fionn as Dotty nodded in agreement. "Do you think we would be different if we knew sooner?"

"Honestly? I think we would have done. Us texting without realising let us get to know each other more than we realised. It allowed us to know each other for personality not for how we met or looked. It was purely based on how much we spoke."

"That's very true, I found out so much which I doubt you'd have revealed to me in person. I think that's why I was able to click with you so easily when we did spend time together in person. Like, remember when we were in the clothes shop and you were looking at dresses but felt so ashamed of your size? I felt so lucky to be able to hear you open up about that because I'd rather you say something to me about what you feel bad and insecure about than have it eat you up inside. Promise me you'll not hide anything like that? I'm here for you, when your at a high point like today and when you're at your lowest. You got that?"

Sorry traced her thumb over his cheekbone and she she shifted so she was on her knees beside him, now able to look at him right in the eyes. They were full on sincerity but also fear. Did he fear of losing her? "I think it's pretty clear that I've got you for a long time, Fionn, after all you stayed with me when I was sick. You cared for me when I couldn't do anything for myself and you are here now rooting for me when I'm fine. I'm so bloody lucky to have someone like you."

"I'm the lucky one, Dotty, when I thought I was going to lose you I couldn't breathe. I felt like my chest was caving in because I finally found someone that made me feel whole and I could have lost you. When you went missing and ended up in Scotland I wanted to tear apart the whole of the country for you, I feared the worst and then when you were unconscious when everyone was at your house, Jesus, Dot I wanted to swap bodies. Hell, I wanted to be in your position the entire time because I hated seeing you in pain."

"Fionn. Can we agree we're both lucky? I love you so much and I want you to know how much I appreciate everything you have done for me. You've bent over backwards for me, you have overworked yourself caring for me and doing your own work, to have you still here is remarkable. Most guys would have run to the hills because of it all."

"We're so lucky, very, very lucky and I love you. I'd love you no matter what, I... I was actually thinking, do you, um, what I'm trying to say is, do you want to move in? Here? With me?"

Dotty blinked multiple times, "move in with you?"

"Uh, yeah."

She nodded slowly, "you sure you could deal with me twenty-four-seven?"

"I'd like to say I can, my love."

"Hmm, then I'd love to Mr Whitehead, so long as you give me a kiss."

"Oh, Dotty, you don't ever have to ask for a kiss." He leaned forward and kissed her, his stomach fluttering at the idea of the pair living together, their home, not his, their room, not hers, their bed, not his. Then reality sunk in. "You wanna be the one to tell your parents whilst I leave the country?"

Chuckling Dotty ruffled his hair, "they love you, they'll definitely say yes."

"I'll hold you to that, Dorothy, if they say no, it's ok your head."

"I'd not expect it otherwise."
