After a few days with the Whiteheads, Dotty returned home for the last three days of the holiday between filming. Fionn was spending the last few days with his friends and family like Dotty was and that only meant the Mr tom Glynn-Carney had arrived at the Nolan residence.

The two were heading out for the day in London to do some shopping and just hang out for a laugh. The pair caught up about what they had been doing and as soon as Dotty informed Tom of her meeting Fion's family he couldn't stop teasing her.

He was picking some random sunglasses off of a shelf and tried them on, pulling a duck face. "You know, me and the other lads called this. We knew you'd be in a relationship. Oh, what good psychics we are, I should audition for that sequel of That's So Raven that Disney Channel is hinting at!"

Dotty chuckled, shaking her head, "I don't think so, honey, and what do you mean by you knew? How is that possible?"

Tom put the sunglasses back and put his arm around Dotty's shoulders, "I told you, we're psychics!"

She scoffed, "Sure."

Tom poked her nose and slipped behind the shelf into the next aisle and popped his head up over the shelf, "You and Fionn just had this very, very obvious chemistry. Plus, Hary and Barry have read those fanfictions when people accidentally text each other and it's literally the rules that you end up together!" He began to dance around on the aisle singing 'doo, doo, doo' repeatedly.

"I don't think they're actual rules, but I can't be bothered to argue," Dotty replied shaking her head and joining Tom who looked rather pale upon realising what aisle he had been stood in on his own.

Dotty began to laugh but Tom played it off cool and picked an item off of the rack, "So do you think this will fit me?"

"Tom, hun, that's a thirty-eight double 'e' cup sized bra, that will be very big on you!"

Tom tutted and put it back fo the rack dragging Dotty to the home-ware section of the shop out of pure embarrassment. Not that bras were embarrassing but the fact he didn't realise where he was until about five minutes later, as well as dancing like a weird man in such aisle.

They soon left the shop having brought a few pillowcases because 'they're bloody gorgeous'. They called into McDonald's because Tom fancied a McFlurry and Dotty got a Belgian Chocolate honeycomb Frappe as she was thirsty. they found a bench not too far from a park and sat down for the first time in about five hours.

"So, what's up, buttercup, you seem good 'n' all but there is something going on behind those eyes," Tom said after a while fo sitting in a comfortable silence.

"My mum and dad want to meet me but I'm scared to." She admitted, "I have spoken to Fionn about it and he said do what makes me feel most comfortable and what I really want, but I don't know what I want and it's all too much, Tom, I don't know what to do and nobody is giving me a straight answer!" Everything just flowed out of Dotty like it had all simply just overflowed. She had been keeping this to herself for a few days and it was not leaving her mind.

Tom furrowed his eyebrows, "Huh? I thought Chris and Emma are your parents."

Dotty shook her head, "They adopted me but only Fionn and family know and now you."

Tom placed his half-eaten McFlurry on the bench beside him and took her drink from his hands putting it next to his ice cream as well and pulled her into a hug. "Well, what Fionn has told you is a good answer, because no one can decide for you, this has to be your decision but if you want to know what I would do, I will give you that."

"Please."

Tom brushed Dotty's hair from her face and tightened his arms around his best friend, "I would meet them because then at least I have met them. You don't know what they could be like, if you don't want anything else to do with them afterwards then fair enough you don't have to but at least you have met them because if you don't you never know what could happen, later in life you might regret not doing so and then not get the chance but if you do at least once then you at least have met them, haven't you?"

She sighed, "You're right, you're so right. Gosh, I...I'm gonna meet them."

"Slow down, Dot, you should still give it some thought."

"No need, what you have said is right, plus, they'll never replace my mum and dad, Chris and Emma, they are my parents, I will never call anyone else mum or dad but them." She shook her head.

"There you go then, is that all that is on your mind or is there anything else?" Tom asked her and gave her a brotherly kiss on the head like he does to his own sister, Molly.

Dotty shook her head. "No, can I have my drink back now please?"

Tom chuckled and handed her frappe back to her and picked up his McFlurry again. The pair got up once more and returned to Dotty's car after finishing what they were eating/drinking, they went back to Dotty's house where Tom stayed the night and went back home in the morning. Only two more days until they would return to filming the last part of the film, Dotty didn't want filming to en.
