"I'll see you another day?" Dotty said to Fionn as they hugged goodbye, the Nolan family ready to head to Holyhead, North Wales, to catch a ferry to Ireland.
Fionn nodded, his hands finding the small of her waist, "You will, message me, yeah?" He replied.
"Try and stop me." Dotty laughed hugging him tighter, "I better get going."
Fionn pulled back smiling at her, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ears, "Have fun!"
"And you." Dotty waited as Fionn got into his car, and started it up. Chris and Emma joined a Dotty's side, waving him off, Fionn tooting his horn as he left the driveway.
"Sweet boy." Emma commented, "you've got a keeper there, sweetheart." She winked, patting her shoulder and getting into the car.
Dotty's cheeks heated up as her father smirked, "all I can say is finally, Dotty! Took you both long enough!"
"Oh shush, dad, let's go." Dotty climbed into the back fo the act as her father climbed into the passenger seat, Emma wanted to drive so that Christopher could run through some script changes.
Dotty got comfortable in the back, kicking her shoes off and putting her legs up on the other seats, her fluffy socks tickling her feat as she posted a picture on snapchat, captioned 'long drive aheadddddddddd XD'.
Despite Fionn and her being very private people, they both had Snapchat, strictly for friends and family, and they constantly sent each other stupid faces which they screenshotted all of the time; even when they were in the same rooms
She sent a double chin photo to Fionn, even though she knew he was still driving, e would get it later and she shut her phone off, leaning her head on the window, watching as the streets of London ran away from them.
Eventually, Dotty grew tired, her eyes drooping and a yawn escaping her lips. She tried to stop herself but in the end she let sleep drown her.
Emma glanced into the mirror and chuckled lightly at the sight of Dotty sleeping soundly. "I'm glad she's found a nice boy. I don't like those boys from her school very much, especially as they are friends with Anna. Do you think Anna had tried to speak to her since you told me what happened?"
Chris shrugged, "I honestly don't have a clue, I'm just happy she had found friendship with the lads, I mean I was hoping for her to make friends with other crew members and possibly a few members of the cast, but I know not many members of the crew want to talk to her because she's my daughter. I like that the lads and her are good friends though, I think she's also friends with Barry's girlfriend, who joined them when they went out and stayed at Fionn's."
"I'm glad too. She's doesn't fit in much, we knew that right back when she first started school, nobody really enjoys or shares the same interests as her and don't understand how she leads her life. She doesn't go to parties, she doesn't push her boobs up or have her arse hanging out, she doesn't post everything over the internet. She's tall but at the same time she's small, if that makes sense. She's innocent too.
I was worried that she wouldn't see sense when it came to Anna and her friends and that she would follow the wrong crowd. Of course, I trust her and have all faith in her making the right decisions but she is so easily led, I'm so happy with how she is leading her life. I know I keep saying that I am so happy but I truly am. Fionn seems so good for her, and he she adores him, you can see it from a mile away."
Chris leaned over and placed a hand on his wife's knee. "She'll be okay. Like you said she had Fionn and no doubt the lads too."

It was nearing midnight when the Nolan's arrived at Emma's parents house in Ireland. However, that didn't stop a massive greeting party from crying out in joys as the three entered the house. Dotty's cousins rugby tackled her to the ground causing her to shriek out in laughter, wrapping her arms around a few of the boys. The whole family were spending some time in Ireland with the eldest two in the family on their farm.
"Right you horrible lot! Let our Dotty breathe and give us oldies a cuddle, because no doubt she wants to get to bed after a long journey." Her grandmother, Edith, smiled swatting some of her cousins on the back as they crawled off of the young woman. Edith pulled her granddaughter into a hug, later joined by her husband, Bobby.
"She slept most of the way!" Laughed Christopher as he greeted his in laws and nephews.
"I've missed you both." Grinned Dotty as she kissed their cheeks.
Bobby chuckled pressing a hand to her cheek, "You grow more gorgeous every time I see you! You must have boys swooning!"
The room grow silent as her cousin's clenched their jaws, not wanting to hear if their Dotty has a boyfriend. You see, all of them are rather protective of the girl, being the only girl and the youngest it was in their nature to want to keep her to themselves and not have any boys interfering. They kind of took that role from Chris who, stereotypically should be the protective one, the group upstaging Emma too!
Dotty laughed awkwardly, her eyes pleading with her father to save her from the embarrassment. He unintentionally made it worse.
"Only one!" He said, "her boyfriend."
Dotty's ears burned red as she looked to her feet.
"Boyfriend?" Asked Kasper her eldest cousin, who was round about the same age as Aneurin.
"Who?" Asked his twin, Jasper.
The rest of her cousins looked at her quizzically but thankfully her mother came to the rescue, "his name is Fionn, he works on Chris' new film, he's the lead. Blah, blah, leave her be. He's a nice lad." She swatted her nephews on the back of the head.
The boys glared at their aunt, but slumped off.
"I'm...going...to...go...to...bed...now." Dotty pointed at the stairs, edging back with every step.
"You're sharing with Seb, Niall and Seamus!" Her aunt, Diana called as Dotty left up the stairs.
"I always do!"
