1x02 - Setting Up

Jonah's POV:
The tables were set up. The food spread out. Drinks filled up with coolers. Yep. This is going to be great.

I walk up to the manager and say to her, "Thanks again for letting us have a party here."

"You're very welcome." The doors open. "I think those two are here for the party. I'll be in the back if you need anything."

Cyrus and Buffy are standing by the food table. "Hey Jonah!" Cyrus says. "We weren't sure if we had to bring food, so we did."

Buffy holds up a bag. "I brought cheese puffs. Cyrus brought some fruits."

"Wow! This is awesome!" I say. "You guys can put them over there." I point to an open spot on the table.

"So, where's Andi?"

Cyrus answers pretty quickly. "We did come early. I'm sure she's still getting ready."

The door open, and Andi walks in. Maybe it was her dress and jacket matching so well, or maybe it was her makeup. But she was so pretty.

"Never mind." Buffy says. "There she is."

Andi holds up a box of cookies. "Hope you guys like chocolate chip."

"I love chocolate chip! You rock, Andiman!" I take the box from her. "Let me set it down at the table for you."

"Thanks, Jonah."

Let me be honest. I wasn't doing this to help her. I mean, I was. But I also needed an excuse to get away from them. I don't think they noticed, but I was blushing. Big time.
