Harley's POV:
"So, Harley." Riley said to me. "Want to tell us a little about yourself?"

Andi turned to me. "Yeah. All I know is that you invent. Anything else about you?"

I chuckled. "Probably the biggest thing about me besides inventing is that I'm the middle child with 6 siblings."

"Really?" Cyrus said.

I nodded. "Yeah. Really. It's a good thing I knew how to invent. Imagine being the middle child, always being overlooked by your own parents. Sometimes, they forget you at home, or at the store.

"Since I knew the basics of inventing, I made little gadgets that helped me around the house. Then, when I was able to keep myself from drowning in the family, I started making gadgets for the family. Now, I'm probably the most beloved in my family. Or at least that's what I like to think."

Cyrus (I think that's what Andi said his name was) started clapping for no reason at all. He stopped himself midclap. "Oh. Sorry. I just thought that was a nice speech."

I laughed. "That was more of a backstory, not a speech. But I'm glad you liked it."

Andi spoke up. "I just realized. Do we give a speech during the award?"

Hearing that made me realize that too. "I don't know. I mean, a lot of people will get an award, so maybe there won't be enough time?"

"Still, should we plan speeches, just in case?"

That was simple. "Well, I've learned that mentioning your family and friends is enough. You don't need to make some huge presentation."

"Got it. I'll just thank my friends and family. Should be simple enough."

A blonde lady walked over to our group. "Maya. How come you didn't introduce your new friends to me?"

"Mom, I would've. But you were in the back, and it was too far away." Maya said.

"Oh well. Hi. My name's Katy. I'm Maya's mom, as well as this cafe's waitress. Could I get you something to eat?"

"I don't know." Andi said. "Some water would be nice, I guess."

Everyone else nodded their heads in agreement. "Got it. 5 glasses of water."

She walked to the back kitchen to get us our water. A few minutes later, she returns with water on a tray. "Here's your water."

"Thank you so much." I say to Katy. She replies before walking back to the kitchen. "You're very welcome."

"Hey, Andi." Cyrus asked. "Where's Jonah?"

"Oh. He's out with his parents. There's having a family day today. But he should be free tomorrow."

"Okay, that's great. Cause I had some plans for tomorrow. Just him and I."

I slowly started to pick up clues that he was gay... but in case I was wrong, I decided to stay quiet. "Uhh, so. Should we go get some rest? The big day is tomorrow."

"What? No it's not." Andi said. "The ceremony isn't for another few days."

I took a deep breath. "Andi. The day was wrong in the letter."

Andi rushed out saying, "I better tell my mom."
